Parents fault not any bands. Parents cant always control I get that, but, still try to let your kids know what the true meanings of songs are while still letting interperate on their own as well. Dee is right.
I don't see Seena Easton, Cyndi Lauper, Def Leppard, or Judas Priest as Filthy. Hardly. Even the other bands on this list only occasionally have a song that would be consider sexually suggestive. You'd have to put Frank Zappa on there, of course. He's got a lot of swearing and sexual suggestiveness. All these other? Occasional at best. What a joke. What if the PMRC heard rap music as it is now back then. MAN! they'ed all hemorrhage right on the spot.

@Vengeance31 interestingly enough, all of the artists involved in the inciden, and especially zappa, proved to be 8383x times more intelligent than the whole politics of that time. not to mention the judas priest trial, that was probably the dumbest trials of them all
Why did Dee have to explain that songs/lyrics can be interpreted many ways? Is this not so obvious? Sometimes, even after I have heard the artist explain a song's meaning or interpret lyrics, I STILL apply my own meanings. I think all art forms may have an intended meaning or emotional reaction, but each individual will have a separate experience while enjoying the art. Certainly the governement can't predict our experience or decide whether or not we can have it! Anyway, this is awesome!
