Fuck its crazy how different the car scenes are in America and othe rplaces aye, in the NZ we are all about speed and drifting and stuff, and all I see are showy Cobalts and Civics in the states. And the odd JAP Evo comes in and cleans up haha.

Sadly it used to be much different, from the late 60's to the late 90's Muscle cars ruled the streets of the USA, But damn ricers have come around and over populated the whole damn scene... But no worries with the rebirth of the challenger and camaro It'll get back to normal, Ricers are going down.

I do like imports every now and then, But the way they OVER-tune them is really disgusting. But I guess you are forgetting about the 99-04 camaro's/firebirds? They are cheap and have LOAADSSS of horsepower. Plus the challenger and camaro will help out the scene... oh did I forget about the mustang? Sorry man but Muscles are here to stay and dominate.

what do you mean by "over-tune"? i'm guessing you are referring to the obnoxious body kits and lame rims, etc. but not all imports are like that. there are honda civics that look bone stock other than their paint that are putting upwards of 400whp. I think you're forgetting the new imports too...2008 skyline gtr, 2009 nsx in the works, the Supra is coming back. there's plenty of nice imports to keep the domestics on their toes

btw the LS1 camaros and firebirds you were talking about were discontinued in 02, but i agree with what you are both sayying in the last two posts. Although i dont think the new nsx and GTR shouldnt be taken into consideration without talking about corvettes and gt40s and such since those are more so in the same class
