  • Thank you so much for posting this..i live in kc now but was living there when they started this project

  • ew ugly looking train

  • If you look at my videos of the Portland MAX, some trains at least give you 1 minute. It really depends how many passengers are waiting at the station. Your video didn't have that many people. That is why it was shorting boarding time. Look at my videos at SW 10th/ Galleria. They gave you around 1 minute or so. By the way 2 trains lucky. I got 2 at Sunset TC.

  • that things a traction elevator

  • I was trying the plaque! I just couldn't when I was boarding this train!

  • I like the max!

  • @9yearoldtrashman me too,its so fun!!!

  • I went to a concert at the zoo and the elevator was so crowded afterward that the buzzer went off.

    Great video!

  • That's cool! Thanks for sharing! My daughter and I are visiting Portland on Tuesday and I was interested in the Max

  • I been there before

  • i hate the sound of those breaks in that tunnel but awsome video

  • borderlands rule

  • I was there last Friday. Six trains came and went in just 15 minutes!

  • Very cool! I was there a few weeks ago, unfortunately I didn't see the underground station. Check out my light rail stuff on my page!!

  • you did a great job

  • How many stations? I love trains and light rail. I have been to Boston and Philadelphia just to ride the trains.

  • @adelgado75 lol really??

  • @FlyingFlame7 Yes, it's true. I need a life, LOLOLOL.

  • @adelgado75 XD

  • Nice Video, Portland is the best!

  • trust me they give you plunty of time

  • On the opposite side of the platform, the elevators closer to the zoo entrance, The top level is 660 instead of 710

  • Actually, The Operators Wait A Few Seconds. They Look For People On The Platform, Which Determines How Long They Have To Wait Until They Close Their Doors. If There Was A Lot Of People, They Would Close The Doors When The Station Is Cleared

  • Do they still stop and open the doors even if no one is on the platform?

  • Yes. It Is Required At Every Station Stop. Maybe Some People Want To Get Off. If No One Gets Off Or On Within About 4-6 Seconds, The Operator Will Leave The Station. It Is Also Due To Train Scheduling. It Has To Remain On The Timed Schedule So That They Can Be On-Time.

  • @BeanMeister22 Yes.

  • @BeanMeister22 Well of course, some people might get off at the station, even if no one will get on the train.

  • @BeanMeister22 yes incase someone on the train wants to get off

  • Wow, thats nice. Quick elevators.

  • Yeah, They Hit About 55 to 60MPH

  • Looks like quite an operation! And that elevator must've damn near been in free fall. WOO!!

But I didn't see anyone on either one of them. Not what I'd call monstrously profitable... :-)

  • That is one of the main complaints that the tax payers have. They spend our highway dollars on trains, and then tell us they need more money or they won't repair the large, and growing number of potholes.

  • Mr BeanMeister, again you top the bill in my subscription update, thats two updates in a row, I am putting you on tube watch...its a place where either you will surrender and become whatthebuckshow slave, or be featured by youtube and be a new happyslip..!

Anyway, persistance has its toll, and my cold heart is warming to your antics..

    The Mad Bomber..

  • Thank you, you are too kind:)

  • I once had a subscriber with 60 video uploads in a month, you know those channels with 1000 videos of everyday life..one day he just never came back, but the ghost of his activity still sits on my mind..

    The Mad Bomber..

  • 45 million dollars?!? damn thats allot of money.

i hate elevators, they freak me out. im claustophobic.

    xoexo

  • Did you see how fast that elevator went?

  • Interesting, looks like its not that old.

  • Yes, it's all pretty new, they just keep building these light rail lines, even though no one rides them, and the voters keep voting NO.
