Whoohoo, one more browncoat convert! I was introduced to Firefly freshman year in college through our scifi club. we had a firefly marathon. All episodes + serenity in one day. man i love whedon. FYI Summer sort of did a similar River role on Sarah Connor Chronicles (great show) and she will have a reacurring role on Dollhouse. So yeah. FIREFLY IS AMAZING.

The weather here was rainy but hot today, & I ended up wearing a skirt with my rainboots, and when I looked in the Mirror it was like "This feels very River Tam." If only they'd been Cowboy boots. But yeah. Firefly is far too short. Love everything about it.

And I've decided that if I ever make it to a non-HP Con of some sort, I'm going as Saffron. =)

Yay, I was so psyched when I saw the title since I'm the biggest Joss fan ever. I love Firefly (haven't finished yet, but so close), but I have to ask. Have you ever seen Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which is the show Joss is most famous for, it's amazing. The first season was a bit blah but then great improvement with humor, intelligence, metaphors emotion, character development, so if you haven't seen it I would highly recommend since it's by Joss! Yay Joss and Browncoats! Welcome to the cult!

The first miniseries (of three issues) specifically addressed the period between the series and the movie, setting up the state of the characters at the start of the movie. It's an interesting read.
