Just for the record, you can´t recreate the run of the Madrid´s track on the real city anymore (hence the camera cuts on the onboard video) since some parts have been changed since the track was made. One of the changes is, you cannot go from the Puerta de Alcalá to Puerta del Sol straight. Puerta del Sol is now almost traffic-free (You can check it on the part with the stands in that place)

@nithPS2 I would be just as happy. If they leave the 16.4 standard, and add the SS as premium, i think that would be better than just upgrading the 16.4. As much as I hate it when people focus on the negatives of the game, it is pretty rediculous when such a monumental car gets such second rate treatment over a ton of useless cars. hopefully they continue to hook us up with these great updates

@ArtyBlackops Because Split Second is a game that anyone can pick up and enjoy.. GT5 is a car enthusiasts dream game.. If you don't like to drive and are not a car nut, GT5 may not be for you. Split Second was a great / fun game and we rated it highly too.. GT5 is masterpiece if you love cars and love to drive.. We love both !

gt5 and realism is all in the setup.. you can set things up so the car drives it self.. or throws you off at every corner just about... if you complain about it's realism, check your driving options and you'll see alot of things that can be turned off that assist beginners.

GT5 physics is by far the best console sim. I'd say its not as hardcore as pc sims BUT its by far more enjoyable than other sim games out there. It doesnt give me that boring feel of pc sims.

@kongbingyuan931202 exactly. GT5 is not as hardcore or indepth as games like netkar or iracing, but the basic driving physics are up with the best of them. What I like most is the differences you feel between the cars. That's what I think other console racers lack. When playing grid, forza, or nfs shift, I don't get nearly as excited when I get new cars, because they don't really feel like new cars. They just feel like faster/slower/lighter/heavier versions of the same car.

awesome video guys. I hope eventually someone does get to ask Kaz about the Veyron. Out of every dissapointment in GT5, the Veyron being a standard car makes the least sense by far. Not that the dissapointments outweigh the positives, GT5 is the best game in the series and best on console

For one, the oval racing physics in GT5 is pretty questionable. Here, cars can have symmetrical car setup and still run speeds as if they had asymmetrical setup.

@wastnTIMEwastnTIME they will finish their GT5 review after they get further in the game and after a few more updates. They do good reviews by being thoorough unlike IGN or Gamespot. GT5 has a ton of replayability so it's only fair to actually play it before you do a review. It's not like a shooter where once you beat the campaign and play some online gaming, you're ready to make a full review. It takes weeks or months to get 100% in this

Gt planet is a great resource for car set-ups for this game. absolutely indispensable, So if your having troubles keeping your favorite car on the track, check 'em out. It's worth the read.

I have problems with spinning wheels in some cars when the engine becomes too strong...

Do they have a non-wheel setup session for the ones using controllers???

@DrDenisSaralho Most tunes @ gt planet are for wheels w/ all driver aids off, ABS set to 1, but you should see no ill- affects when using your controller or driving aids. but for fast lap times, i recommend trying a GT planet tune w/ all driver aids off, just to see how you do :) CHEERS, mate, and good luck to you.

GT5 doesn't go into as much detail as some sims but the physics are simulation. It doesn't properly simulate some things but the actual driving is very realistic and the individuality of each different car is second to none. play the game before you decide to troll like a bum
