it seems like since SF4 came out, SF3 players have been playing around with their characters again. There's still way too many players riding the chun/yun train, but it looks like some players are trying to get really good with some lower tier characters to spice up competition at least.

Ugh. In my opinion, characters like Sean, Q, 12, Necro, Remy and Ibuki should be BANNED from tournament play. The only point of picking low tier characters is to humiliate the people you're playing against. Playing low tiers shows a great lack of respect toward both your opponent and the game itself.
