Depends on what method you are using to purify it. If it's sealed bottled water it will last a while. my plan is just to store it straight from the tap and then run it through my Berkey filter if I ever have to use it.
Also on one side of the composter you can put 2x4's at a 90 with additional castors so you can roll it with vigor by pushing. Just a thought. Hope this is clear. Nice F-body but of course what else would the Lord Humungous have. Where did you get the tag cover.
i'm going to plant some dwarf orange, plum, and peach trees this spring.. I have a limon tree like yours, and a avacodo tree that I haven't planted yet. Waiting for the last frost... I really like your compost tumbler.. very nice...
Yeah I had been renting for years but I bought this place about 8 months ago, so I am stoked about putting more fruit trees and bushes. I'm going with a couple citrus, maybe a peach tree, a cold-tolerant avocado, the blueberries, and some black berries
@TheLordHumungus Any thoughts on putting in some pecan or walnut trees or whatever nut trees grow in your area? I'm trying to come up with a plan for varied nutrition year round. Garden + fruit/nut trees + chickens + maybe goats? Thoughts?
I actually have thought about the pecans, but those trees are huge, and my property isn't THAT big and I still need space and non-shaded areas for my other stuff.
my nutrition plan is local-growing fruit trees and bushes, aquaponics setup for fish and vegetables, chickens, and soldier grubs (to eliminate waste, create compost and chicken/fish food.)
I am also planting clover in the yard and will use that to raise rabbits if I decide I need more food production.
That's the last thing we need is a 3rd nut.

This compost barrel reminds me of the bicycle washer machine they made on "The Colony"

@TheLordHumungus It's tap water that's been through a Brita water filter and in a 5 gallon jug. How much does a Berkey filter cost?
