  • it's an unreleased game, the released ones definitely had six button support.

  • You think the Genesis controller setup is bad? You should've seen the button layout for Street Fighter 1 in the arcade. Only two (very large) buttons; one punch, one kick. You had to literally hit the button and you'd get a light, medium, or heavy attack depending on how hard you hit it. They had to make the now-standard 6-button layout because the buttons kept breaking.

But don't blame the Genesis because Chun-Li is just that awesome XD

  • those controls sound awkward.

  • @UltrakupraRebirth I approve

  • All 3 button Genesis players later went on to main Gen.

  • and the snes had an arcade stick and a nintendo scope, but jesus they are aftermarket controllers! like in the genesis it was the 6 buttons controller,so an average player with a standard genesis had 3 buttons

Sega fanboys, just face it snes ruled and still does

  • I think you keep doing shoryuukens by starting with right (6) rather than down (2)

  • ST II' Turbo? More like SF II' Turbo. Why the apostrophe anyway? Dumb fucks.

  • This version makes my ears bleed.

  • I love the girl playing her chest at 6:44

  • Zeta I thin kyou got the beta version. Someone ripped the music from the genesis version, and the released version didn't have music cutoffs, this one does, implying the beta was used.

  • I like Ken.

  • The title threw me; I didn't remember a version of Super II Turbo on anything but 3DO.

And it would've been hilarious if the Wheel mascot had been Ray from Fighter's History (the game Capcom sued Data East over, claiming it was infringing copyrights on Street Fighter II).

  • Reason for glitch-ness on the Sega title in the first one, teh fact that it says "ST II Turbo" and a couple other minor places: [h1] tag. [h] tag on Goodsets is Hack.

"Street Fighter II(2) Turbo" was never released for Genesis/MD. The Genesis/MD port of Hyper Fighting was "Street Fighter II: Special Champion Edition" in NA and EU, "Street Fighter II Dash Plus: Champion Edition" in JP and SNES got it as "Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting" as seen in the second half.

  • I believe Guile's theme goes with this :P

  • the reason why it was on 3 button mode is because it's set that way in the options bro.

  • Street Fighter II: Champion Edition on Genesis was the best of the series. For reals.

  • When Chun Li is concerned, she could probably kick cut everything in the kitchen. Don't tick that one off. Remember that she was so good, she starred in her own movie. Good, bad or ugly is another subject.

  • I Like Ken, he's actually my favorite.

  • Oh, yea. One of 'those' games that sets up that optional six button controller. What I can't believe is given all the SF titles for Gene/SNES, it took this long for even ONE to surface. And, if there is one obscure NES title out there...

  • Sega version was supposed to have ran better....but damn sounds like shit. Isn't there some way to set up the 6 button layout?

  • Ryu has to back more potatoes!!!^_^

  • You can choose a lot of the other characters in SFII when all you know is the Hadouken moves. I'm not a fan of charging-moves myself.

  • No one likes Ken, but he does have the most bad-ass song in the game.

  • Zeta, you realize that the genesis has a 6 button controller as well, right?

  • I prefer the version where the intro has one guy basically just punch another guy one time and fall down.

Which, y'know, is usually how an ACTUAL street fight goes.

  • lazy ass. why you no upload more videos for 3 days?

  • This version of SFII = SANIC BOM!

  • So much Genesis bashing. It's warranted, but still if you had been a fan back in the day you'd know about the 6 button controller. Sega Genesis had a 6 button controller that gave their controller an edge on the shelves. The genesis version also had the perspective scrolling backgrounds, which the SNES didn't.

However, and this is as an old Genesis fan, the SNES version was superior in framerate, controls and had bigger sprites.

  • I had all six mapped, three didn't work

  • @ZetaPlays You have to turn on 6 Button mode in the options for the game me thinks.

  • @cymonsgames It didn't have better frame rate, it didn't control better and it didn't have bigger sprites. Clearer voices and more colors yes.

  • Hey I loved the hell out of this on Genesis. Using start to switch was a huge challenge for sure but if you had a 6 button controller, that wasn't necessary. Either way, I sucked at this game and probably still do since it's been a long time since I played it!!

  • see if you would have pick m bison you would have beat the game

  • Chun Li ftw.

  • Hey look, the return of ActRaiser, who according to SamuraiSam, last appeared on the 9/9/11.

  • Guile's theme goes with everything.....

  • i only have 2 SF games on the Wii's Virtual Console.Super SF The New Challengers(which has Cammy) and SF Alpha 2,SSF:TNC is definitely one of my favorite fighters of all time.

also somebody already did the joke in the comments, but Chun-Li Defeated you because of her Spinning "BIRD" Kick. XD

  • Guile's theme goes with everything!

  • Shit, Zeta. You did pretty well. Also, because the joke is inevitable, Chun-Li beat you because she had the power of Spinning BIRD Kick.

  • "Stay in one place woman! And that place is the kitchen!" Oh Zeta you mysogenistic magnificent bastard :3

  • God damn it you teased me.

  • There is actually another genesis version that, i think, is even better than the SNES turbo, Special Champion Edition. Very similar to turbo on SNES, but better music and smoother gameplay. STII is a beta version of that game, it's just shitty cause it's unfinished.

  • The pipes are broken~!

  • lol notice the woman in the background? What's shes doing with that guy? :-D

  • just like I expected from a genesis, sfx suckage

  • You should of picked Dhalsim, than you could of streched your limbs across screen all day without having to put in Hadoken and shoryuken commands!

  • im sorry Zeta but the snes version is WAY better

  • Zeta. which special move do you like more, hadouken or shoryuken?

  • you forgot the genesis six-button pad....

  • @morakdais nope, all six were mapped but three nonfunctional

  • @ZetaPlays probably a port/hack/beta then, genesis had a six button arcade stick shortly after it's release. I know because my cousin and I used to play SF 2 with arcade sticks on genesis.

  • @ZetaPlays IIRC, you had to go to options to enable 6-button mode. Either way, done and dusted.

  • HADOUKEN!

  • @Rekreatur89 SSOONNIICC BBOOMM

  • In before pound cake?

  • 15:07 - 15:20 was just sad.....you got your ass handed to you!

  • Wait, it just SF2 Turbo? No "Super" in the beggining?

  • I guess only the genesis version wasn't super (lol, no surprise there), so I'll go ahead and throw that in there anyway

  • It's down-rated and Genesis Street Fighter games always sucked ass in general. SNES ruled though. =)

  • @BreastsInspector Mainly because of the way Genesis controls operated, lol.

  • @ZetaPlays

Zeta, you are incorrect my friend. It is widely argued that the controls and game play are actually better on the SEGA Genesis version because of the SEGA Genesis 6 button control layout. The Sega Genesis 6 Button Controller was created in order to replace the original 3-button Genesis controller in games that require more than three action buttons like "Street Fighter II: Special Championship Edition". The SNES does h/e sound better and possess good visuals.

  • I have all six buttons mapped, the other three were not functional, if they had been I wouldn't argue

Maybe this is a version made for before the genesis had six button support. Honestly I didn't know the genesis supported more than 3 buttons without 32x or cd, did it? the original controllers, and what most games support, only had 3 as I'm sure you know

  • Derp I didn't read the last half

This must be a version that didn't support them then

  • @ZetaPlays need to make guile on the wheel

  • @ProkoLokor You're young, aren't you ? =)

Street Fighter goes as far back as just Street Fighter. Street Fighter, Street Fighter II, Street Fighter II Champion Edition, Street Fighter II Turbo, Super Street Fighter II, THEN Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha, Street Fighter Alpha II, Street Fighter Alpha III...okay, I really don't think I should have to list twenty to thirty Street Fighter games, lol.

  • @BreastsInspector Someone fuckin' help me if I'm forgetting any, though not after Alpha III, lol.

  • @BreastsInspector Whoa. Too bad there was not a single re-relase of SF1. Just like AVGN said - where's my Street Fighter 1: The Good Edition?

  • Yeah, stop giving us shity Genesis games Wheel!

  • yey more stuff to watch
