The points you get from killing should have a point, like via. weapon drops, vehicle drops, reinforecements (odst, marines,etc.), too unlock certain areas {like in zombies} etc.

Be able to fight the flood in firefight

Maybe a boss every _ rounds? like a scarab etc.
