I actually think mgs3 is the worst one. Mgs1 was ground breaking in that it introduced metal gear solid, Mgs2 had the best replay value with dog tags, easter eggs and substance, Mgs4 had the most gameplay diversity and impressively covered everything while fairing well against its legendary predecessors. Mgs4 added the survival mechanics and had a great story as they all did but although the gameplay added difficulty I enjoyed the experiences from other others more. Their all great in the end.

@ps3specter Apparently PO isn't canon with the story according to the timeline in MGS, even though it explains a lot of stuff that leads into PW, they apparently don't count it into the storyline. I loved PO though, but eh, it leads onto something greater :3

Olga was the first boss in MGS2. The best parts of that to me was the tanker and the last part of the game. I couldn't get into the original version of MGS3 but I did get into the Subsistance version. Once I got to fighting Volgin, I just couldn't put the controller and the ending to MGS3 was incredible. I really enjoyed the ending to every MGS game except for MGS2.
