SOLVED : Galaxy S screen broke itself and Samsung won't repair

and i have the galaxy google nexus.

it was freakin 750 and i only had for a month

The screen just cracked itself

i just got my samsung galaxy s for 2 week. now on top off left hand cornes inside off the screen cracked

@1994soca Yep I would say that's the exact same problem.

I recommend you contact Samsung Customer Service, tell them about the issue, and point them to this video.

I did that (without the video obviously) and at first, the refused to take it into warranty, but a few days after I posted this video and talked about my issue on Twitter, they sent me another letter asking me to send the phone in so they could check it (they did not say they would repair it).

I do have a same problem. However, my LCD touch screen works, just the front glass is totally scratched. I bought the glass from ebay for about £10. I will try to replace it myself by following a youtube vid I searched for earlier.

@kassana69 Hi, did you have any luck, I dropped mine from a good...4ft and the screen cracked but the LED is intact. Went to local repair shops and they wanted £100 pounds to repair it.....Also I rang samsung and they tried to palm me off to a third party repair place!. I am tempted to fix it myself but I am confused on what pieces you have to disconnect and reconnect. Please reply and tell me how you are getting on with it. Thanks

@Optimuspints No mate, I ended up giving it to samsung who gave it to a third party and charged me £69 to fix the screen. Not bad I think to be honest.

@kassana69 : Yeah found out carphone warehouse has some repair sites asking for the same price. thanks for the reply though man much appreciated
