Russell is right, he doesn't need the idol. No matter what he can force a tie breaker, and even with the idol he'd have to get lucky and guess which person the other alliance will vote out.

Russell has a mole called Shambo to signal to him who galu is going to vote. How? With sign language guy! At least thats what I believe is the hidden code, and why he was 100% sure that his name was written down on the last tribal council. Am I the only one that has figured that out? Maybe I am wrong but I doubt it.

I think it's more that galu was so overconfident they didn't think there was anything Russell could do to avoid getting voted off, so they didn't bother hiding it. We've already seen from other episodes that they don't trust Shambo, and they also know that Shambo and Russell are tight.

Okay so if they dont trust Shambo then what are they to do on the next show assuming when its 5 to 5 with Shambos Switchover, and if that is the case I doubt Shambo will make that known until the votes are cast. Like I said Shambo and Rusell have sign language system worked out so that if he happens to get the idol I am sure he will pass it over to the votee. At least I hope for this as this would be amazing! Then they could blindside them so called brainiacs again.

I mean, seriously Russell too is playing the numbers game and he will vote his former tribe out in a heartbeat. He knows that him and Shambo now hold the balance of power. If he is smart he would know taking Monica out will get himself another John. I dont think he was gonna bring his former tribemates into the final 3 anyways. Once Russell takes care of the girls Shambo hate, thats where the game begins.

Yes, I think he should take out Monica since if a tiebreaker situation happens, I doubt monica can build a fire very well. Not sure what you mean by Shambo Hate? Russell has to stick with a least two of his soon to be former tribe members for a numbers advantage. I believe Russell can win this one. I see the writing on the wall. I think finally an over publicised figure will actually win this.

the promos said that russell would become one of the biggest survivor villains ever. So far, I haven't seen anything major that he's done. I think he might betray Shambo later on in the game when she trusts him the most. He would have to do something like Dreamz not giving Yau-Man immunity to become the biggest villain

Well, people don't like Russell on account of how arrogant, mean-spirited, sexist, and generally 'evil' he is. I mean, people really still don't like him for lying about being a Katrina victim or destroying people's property, and his derogatory comments about women won't make him any fans either. But I'm sure those that like him probably do for his strategy, not for his personality.

The katrina thing was pure strategy you can't take offense to that geez. He wasn't exactly being sexist by calling the girls stupid, they are stupid he didnt say all women are stupid. He refers to shambo as his biggest ally. Didnt hear anything about him destroying peoples property but that is part of the business he is in and i wouldnt put that against anyone. You do what you have to do to make it. That is exactly what he has been doing in this game

In Episode 8 in ran around giving everyone a reason to vote for him.

Intentionally destroyed his tribe making the game that much harder for him in the first place.

Has been generally unpleasant, arrogant, and misogynotic. He's like Rob Marian, but dosen't know what he's doing.

I predict a Natalie win, she seems to be a favorite.

I wasn't saying that I held it against him, I'm just saying going by the people who typically get voted as the audience favourites, I really don't think the majority of the audience would look at him as a favourite. Hell, I actually like Russell a bit (though Natalie/Dave/Laura are cool and I don't mind John/Monica) because he's playing hard. I just know a lot of people who really don't.

Yeah i duno i like he makes the game interesting. Don't like laura she is very one dimensional. Can't remember names but the engineer(they say rocket scientist which is retarded) i like and the doctor. Natalie was kinda boring till last week when she killed the rat that was funny as hell. Monica is boring too.

see thats the thing thats retarded. Rocket "scientists" ARE engineers (im studying the same course that he did). But that isnt important. I generally route for men any ways so thats probably why i don't like monica. I like shambo though and natalie.

Dunno, I root for whoever, though I tend to route for fans first and foremost (which makes it weird that I'm not that big of a fan of Shambo's). That and I tend to not like people who dislike or target others just because they're of the opposite gender.

thats why i generally don't like women in survivor they always gang up on the guys. I remember one season think it was vanuatu it was the worst...id blame the fact the leader of the women was a lesbian( not that i have a problem with that) to blame for that.

Actually, she (Ami) is bi, and just got engaged to a guy recently... But yeah, I didn't like it in Micro when Parvati/Amanda/Natalie/Cirie were taking out guys just because they weren't girls, and didn't like it in Fiji when some of the people were taking out the girls just for being girls. Of course, there's that whole Raro controversy with Cook Islands about race..., but that's another issue.
