The Samsung Galaxy Ace has a better camera (5MP) this has 2MP, also the Ace has a more efficient battery, and on Virgin UK is the same price as the Gio!

this phone is good, phone memory is really low, and many apps don't go to sd card, thats a downer, the gps does not work, or doesn't seem to for me, other then that it works fine, its fast, works almost as good as the high end phones, just with lower processor and screen, but i like it, it won't break the bank. well worth what its sold for

@TheAlizz12 The biggest different is that the gio has 800mhz processor and 278MB of RAM and the htc explorer has 600mhz processor and 512MB of RAM (more RAM means better for multitasking and better processor means that it is faster and plays games with less lag)

@Chifen0121 well shal I be honest? have it now for over a year,great first android phone,alright size and ALRIGHT speed....But games really lack if not warmed up (more precisely after say 5 minutes of using) angry birds is a bit slagish but other games like alchemy,raging thunder and tank fury work perfect But... yesterday I downloaded android 2.3 and phone is like brand new,all these problems faded and it works better than the htc wildfire s (my 2 phone) bye the way do not get the wildfire s
