@ThePsychological Yes I'm quite aware. I'm playing quarter notes. He plays eighths. Alot of the comments in this section are discussing just that. Thanks for the heads up though.
u do no durring the verse its 8th notes on the high hat. And after it says 'ill hold it against you' its not just a drum roll on the snare, he's also hitting the tom with it. It's a good cover but I say dammit is only hard if you try to get it exact.
Thank you very much. The 2 crashes are Zildjian A Series Fast Crash. I have an A Custom Splash, an A Custom China, A Custom Projection Ride, ZilBel, K Series Hi Hats. Everything Zildjian. Thanks for the compliments.

Well, decent cover. But highly upset. You played quarter notes. Anyone can play it like that. But, the entire fun, challenging part of the entire song is playing it with sixteenth notes. Very upset. You also changed many parts of the whole song. Try re-doing it.
thanks for the compliment and suggestion. After I get my PA working again I'll repost with the 8th notes, instead of the quarter notes because that seems to be a topic of discussion here. LOL. Thanks again.
nice cover and Btw for everyone else, He is not playing eight notes. He's playing quarter notes. please learn how to count!the orginal version of this song is played in 8th notes (1&2&3&4&) not in quarter's which is what he is playing
Well... I went to your channel so you could show me how it's done, but go figure... you have 0 videos. What happened? No talents? I figured if you were gonna talk smack you'd at least be able to have SOMETHING. Guess we ALL can't be professional musicians and the best at everything like you...Ah well...
yeah this guy is a lot better than you and I don't even need to here you play. You're a cocky little bitch, you probably can't even hold sticks right so much keep a beat.
Hello =] excellent cover .. Me and my new band are going to try and play this do you have any tips for me to get this song right :) ? Excellent cover btw.
Thanks for the compliment! Tips: Listen to the song over and over and over and over again until you hear every detail and have it memorized. THEN sit down and work it out on set. That can apply to any song though. Good luck!
I know what you mean. I hear how he plays it, and you are correct, I can play them. The reason I play it this way is because I'll be playing drums for 3 hours at a show so I get used to playing it this way to save a little energy. I appreciate the feedback and the compliment though. Maybe endurance training is what I should do so I don't have to worry about energy though.
great cover dude!

ErikTheGamer 2 years ago
No double bass pedal in this song.
bmcdade00 2 years ago
true, but they should learn! adds a lot to the song.
Wesker1982 2 years ago

A couple days. Thank you.
bmcdade00 2 years ago

tianox7 2 years ago
nice cover, but isn't it suppose to be faster?
juscallmeTJ 2 years ago
No. I'm playing it to the CD track.
bmcdade00 2 years ago
I think hes talking about the hihat and ride speed, 8th notes are played on the CD track.
Wesker1982 2 years ago
I hate a sloppy sounding snare. I'll leave it tight. I have a picolo snare for a reason.
bmcdade00 2 years ago
nice cover, saves a lot of energy!

Pretty damn awesome man. But where did you get the tabs?
Flood0923 2 years ago
you need no tabs if you have a feeling for playing the drums
d12homie999 2 years ago
Not for this song man, its just too fast. Well either that or I dont have "a feeling"
Flood0923 2 years ago
I didn't use tabs. All the covers that I play, I learn by ear.
bmcdade00 2 years ago
Wow you serious?
Flood0923 2 years ago
Actually, this is an easy song to learn by ear.
