the maker is Lawrence K Smith from NSW. yes this guitar is rather loud as well, very great dynamic control. im actually borrowing the guitar at the moment, im a guitar student at university and good guitars dont come cheap!

No, they don't. I know, I went through college with a cheap Takamine. Ricardo Cobo was in the same dept. and came up to me after my first masterclass performance to ask what kind of guitar I was playing! My teacher back then also used to say, "it's the Indian, not the arrow."

Best of luck with your studies. Never stop working on your tone. Barrueco used to say that each note should be like a star in the sky, or a diamond --clear and beautiful!

Just beautiful! I assume you know Bellinati's music and Almeida? If not, check out the latter's Mystified. I just happened upon your music, hunting for the Ponce Preludio which I've begun learning. Again, really nice playing!
