well, i dont go to college in a funhouse, so i cant say for sure about the mirror situation. i can tell you, however, that unless I am trying to make an impression on someone, I try to avoid eye contact. Overrated, in my opinion. I look at other things while i speak to people. It gives the impression "Im on the move", and the fact that I continue to talk while I obviously have so many other things to be occupying my mind with makes them feel like I consider them a valuable waste of my time.
only true men look each other straight in the eyes. If i see you in the bathroom, i expect nothing less
