@Deathunder I was actually talking about the Gigantomachy not the Titanomachy. I know that Zeus and the other Olympians beat the Titans but the war against the Giants was another matter entirely. It was prophesized that, in the war between the Gods and the Giants, the Gods would lose without Heracles... as he was originally called. He beat the Giants when they attacked but when he died the Olympians feared that the Giants would attack again so they raised him to godhood.

Hulk gets stronger when he is angry. BUT Hercules has a steady amount of power from the start of the fight. SO IF HERCULES puch Hulk at the start of the fight with his strength he should knock down Hulk for good (since at the start of the fight Hulk is weaker). Unless we assume that Hulk even at the start (not so angry) is so over powered than a semi God with divine power ( Dont forget Hercules holded the sky in greek mythology by replacing Atlas. Can hulk have done that from the start? )

Savage Hulk has given both Thor and Herc a run for their money. Now what we haven't scene is this new Banner-Hulk fight either. Also I'd like to see how Skaar fairs against them too. IMO he'll end up being stronger than his father. People forget that Skaar's only like 8, but he's right up there with the heavy hitters.

In Thor #385, he was brutal, but still couldn't KO Thor and was shocked he couldn't beat Thor w/o Mjolnir . In Defenders #10, Thor held an enraged Savage Hulk motionless for an hour -- without flinching an inch -- because Hulk was intent on killing him. In Hulk #300, Thor was beating the insane Mindless Hulk...before Dr. Strange got involved.

In Hulk Annual 2001, Thor KO'd Hulk very easily and was about to KO him before using the lightning, but stopped to put out a fire. Hulk proved he can't KO Thor and that Thor can take his hardest blows and get right back up. Hell, Hulk passed out on an alien planet because of the atmosphere, while Thor breathed it fine and nearly left Banner to die, but chose not to.

Certainly in a prolonged combat situation the Hulk will inevitably overpower either god. But if any characters had a chance of KOing the Hulk quickly, these guys would have the best shot. Let's not forget that both of these guys have had thousands of years of combat experience battling foes as strong or stronger than themselves. Ultimately it's nearly impossible for me to choose as they are all favorites of mine. But I'd probably give the edge to Thor as he has repeatedly bested cosmic threats
Physically Hulk is the strongest between the three. Thor and Herc are about equal though Herc is slightly better hand to hand and Thor would win with weapons as his hammer has magical abilities whereas Herc's mace has none. However Thor has variously been powered up to Sky-Father level (surpassing Odin himself) and Herc did once ascend to being "God of Gods", while the Hulk has never received such drastic enhancements.

The two wins for Thor has to be the Hulk 2001 KO and Thor #489. Technically, Thor is 2-0 vs Hulk because he was stopped before he could KO or kill Hulk in #489 with a final blow and Hulk could do nothing to stop him. It can be counted as a "win", but it's more of a TKO. Hulk has zero wins vs Thor.

The only thing Hulk did was pick it up. Thor knocked the statue out of his hands. If anything, Dr. Strange saved Hulk from Thor killing him. In Hulk 2001, Thor KO'd Hulk with lightning. Hulk woke up while Thor was teleporting him and punched Thor into the ground, but Thor got right back up and Hulk whined.

@Dynam001 Remember also Thor always holds back when fighting Hulk for fear of hurting Banner who is his friend. The one instance where Thor did not hold back he literally took Hulks head and broke his neck within one panel of a comic thus turning Hulk back into Banner. Hulk cannot hang with Thor. The only time Hulk would have a glimmer of a chance would be if Thor got into a slugfest with Hulk and even then I doubt it. If Thor uses the full potential of his powers its impossible for Hulk to win.

@Deathunder I was actually talking about the Gigantomachy not the Titanomachy. I know that Zeus and the other Olympians beat the Titans but the war against the Giants was another matter entirely. It was prophesized that, in the war between the Gods and the Giants, the Gods would lose without Heracles... as he was originally called. He beat the Giants when they attacked but when he died the Olympians feared that the Giants would attack again so they raised him to godhood.

Hulk gets stronger when he is angry. BUT Hercules has a steady amount of power from the start of the fight. SO IF HERCULES puch Hulk at the start of the fight with his strength he should knock down Hulk for good (since at the start of the fight Hulk is weaker). Savage Hulk has given both Thor and Herc a run for their money. Now what we haven't scene is this new Banner-Hulk fight either. Also I'd like to see how Skaar fairs against them too. IMO he'll end up being stronger than his father. People forget that Skaar's only like 8, but he's right up there with the heavy hitters.

In Thor #385, he was brutal, but still couldn't KO Thor and was shocked he couldn't beat Thor w/o Mjolnir . In Defenders #10, Thor held an enraged Savage Hulk motionless for an hour -- without flinching an inch -- because Hulk was intent on killing him. In Hulk #300, Thor was beating the insane Mindless Hulk...before Dr. Strange got involved.

As for WWH, Thor never met him -- except in a non-canon What If? story where Thor nearly killed him. Hulk isn't on Thor's full power level. @joejoe45ful Thor was depowered in Hulk #440 and tried to use berserker rage to increase his power. In Hulk Annual 2001, Thor KO'd Hulk very easily and was about to KO him before using the lightning, but stopped to put out a fire. Hulk proved he can't KO Thor and that Thor can take his hardest blows and get right back up. Hell, Hulk passed out on an alien planet because of the atmosphere, while Thor breathed it fine and nearly left Banner to die, but chose not to.

You need a Hooked on Phonics course -- among other things. Thor wasn't full power in Hulk #440 and tried to use berserker rage to increase his power to normal levels. Hulk didn't save shit -- Thor would have survived the bomb. Attempt to read the comic, instead of just looking at your favorite pics. Thor has never had Warrior's Madness -- that's a disease. Refer to the "Blood and Thunder" series for that info, jackass.

@Dynamo True he never KO'd them, but in Hulk verses he pretty much killed him(Thor). I don't think you have to KO someone to beat them and he's beaten both IMO, and he's been beaten too. Hulk is a mortal, but how can you say Thor nor Herc never used their full power? I'm just curious.

@MPressive940 Cartoons and movies are non-canon, meaning they're not part of Marvel mainstream continuity. In other words, what happens in them doesn't count. Thor has never lost to Hulk in a canon comic. As for Thor not using his full powers, have you ever seen Thor use a God Blast, Anti-Force Blast, Thermo-Blast, Cosmic forces or anything other than lightning and brute strength? Even then, he still held back. Herc could kill Hulk before he gets too angry, if he wanted.

Certainly in a prolonged combat situation the Hulk will inevitably overpower either god. But if any characters had a chance of KOing the Hulk quickly, these guys would have the best shot. Let's not forget that both of these guys have had thousands of years of combat experience battling foes as strong or stronger than themselves. Ultimately it's nearly impossible for me to choose as they are all favorites of mine. But I'd probably give the edge to Thor as he has repeatedly bested cosmic threats

Physically Hulk is the strongest between the three. Thor and Herc are about equal though Herc is slightly better hand to hand and Thor would win with weapons as his hammer has magical abilities whereas Herc's mace has none. However Thor has variously been powered up to Sky-Father level (surpassing Odin himself) and Herc did once ascend to being "God of Gods", while the Hulk has never received such drastic enhancements.

This has been proven to be a fact since Thor has one-shotted foes that have KO'd Hulk (i.e. Abomination, a hydrated Sub-Mariner, etc.) and has a level he can reach that boosts his strength 10X (Beserker Rage or what some call "Warrior's Madness"). He's fought some beings for months, non-stop. POTENTIALLY, Hulk could be the strongest, but there is a limit to his anger. Stan Lee labeled Thor to be Marvel's strongest hero.

@Dynamo001 If you look at the end of my last comment I did say that Thor is probably the strongest because he has faced and defeated cosmic threats much more powerful than himself, Hercules and the Hulk. But to me that doesn't mean that the Hulk and Hercules are INCAPABLE of beating Thor. I'd have to see the actual reference where Stan Lee said Thor is the strongest Marvel hero because I generally believe that the Silver Surfer is more powerful than Thor.

@MrTBSC That was said in a non-canon issue of Thor. If it was canon, it would have taken place in his main title. Anything said in non-canon isn't fact. Movies, graphic novels, alternate universes, company crossovers, one shots and limited series outside of a main title (e.g. Thor: Blood Oath) = non-canon or aren't part of mainstream continuity. In other words, they don't count.

for one, hercules is gay....but is not stronger than thor but is maybe more skilled in one on one hand to hand as thor had said. But not in battle where weapons and ALL skills come into play. nonetheless hulk is stronger than both and does not have an upper limit level of strength. And for the dude that said hulk has never beaten thor...you are wrong...not only did he beat thor, but did so very easily and withstood thors hammer strikes. @karutobi In what delusion? Hulk's full power is nothing to Thor's. If you think this is true, name the issues Thor supposedly lost to Hulk. The two wins for Thor has to be the Hulk 2001 KO and Thor #489. Technically, Thor is 2-0 vs Hulk because he was stopped before he could KO or kill Hulk in #489 with a final blow and Hulk could do nothing to stop him. It can be counted as a "win", but it's more of a TKO. Hulk has zero wins vs Thor.

Hulk: "Even without hammer, you keep fighting back!" "Why can't Hulk defeat you?" "WHY?" WHY?" Thor: "Because I be SON OF ODIN!" The only thing that issue proved is that Hulk can't KO Thor w/o hammer and that he's scared of Mjolnir. Thor defended himself but was far from going all-out. Hulk won nothing.

@karutobi First of all, learn how to read and write -- it was Hulk #300 Vol. 1. Secondly, Thor was kicking the Mindless Hulk's ass in that issue. Thor knocked Hulk into the statue. The only thing Hulk did was pick it up. Thor knocked the statue out of his hands. If anything, Dr. Strange saved Hulk from Thor killing him. In Hulk 2001, Thor KO'd Hulk with lightning. Hulk woke up while Thor was teleporting him and punched Thor into the ground, but Thor got right back up and Hulk whined.

@Dynam001 Remember also Thor always holds back when fighting Hulk for fear of hurting Banner who is his friend. The one instance where Thor did not hold back he literally took Hulks head and broke his neck within one panel of a comic thus turning Hulk back into Banner. Hulk cannot hang with Thor. The only time Hulk would have a glimmer of a chance would be if Thor got into a slugfest with Hulk and even then I doubt it. If Thor uses the full potential of his powers its impossible for Hulk to win.
