@bardiar77 thanks for posting--my first husband was Persian--I tried to learns the language--however, he would not permit me to go to school to learn--I think he didn't want me to understand his culture--it's still hurts me now. I am second generation German, and have worked with sooo many different cultures that a lot of my friends do not understand,; but I guess we all need to try to get along--life is too short to be angry because of our differences:)

thanks for work that you put into it. I, however diagree with you. Iranian music is NOT a vast world. They keep singing about the same stuff. If you were to count the number of moods described in all iranian music, no more than a handful of moods are excapsulated! No it's not really my taste !...as i said IranProud-ians have selected those songs..and the original list which has been 20 songs , was selected from one of the most famous Iranian music sites , among the most visited songs .
