  • Try using atomic tuned or plasma motor with better batteries. That'll give your mini 4wd some serious zoom it needs.

    Just curious. Do they sponsor some Tamiya mini 4wd tournaments there in the States like the ones around here?

  • he's not trying to show you how fast they are. He's giving a little info on them before he ebays them.

    Those cars can go up to the mid 40's in terms of mph using the best of tamiya parts. With the best aftermarket parts and a few modifications and an extremely long straight, they may hit 55-60. Homebuilt ones could hit around 70. This is all done with a single motor and 2 AA nicd or nimh batteries. Imagine the speed if you use lipos...

  • I nearly died when i was 9 years old doing dat..i thought it would go faster with more current so i opened up a 3 pin plug and took 2 wires i connected it to the motor..i put it in the electricity..my dad nearly killed me!! HAHA!!
