  • i just got a positive camber capita board but i wanna get really good at riding in the park and hitting rails boxs and jumps.. is it a good board for it?

  • I'm a beginner, and if i want to get a snowboard should I get a camber or reverse camber? I have like a crappy walmart snowboard and the most ive done with it is like go off a 2 foot jump

  • If you like hitting park kickers, I wouldnt recommend reverse camber

  • ps i cant wait for all the hate mail... Bottom line is ride what you like

  • Macho man? Hahaha really? Is that the best you got? You been whackin it to your village people dvd a little too much apparantly. Rocker has a place and so does camber. Its choice and I just get sick of all the "banana is the future" bs that is being pushed for a buck. I have asked around and most reps and riders who actually ride and sell boards for a LIVING ride camber or hybrids so save the "kook" comments for yourself or better yet shut up and go ride. That is if you can without a banana

  • i love the banana and the info this guy is saying but he is just a square

  • dude fix your tags... gimme a break.

  • does gnu make any regular camber boards anymore?

  • wtf why is one of the henson brothers trying to tell me about snowboarding?

  • that would be a better choice, for back country powder and rails and boxes.

Reverse camber or Triple Base Technology?

    HELPP

  • they aren't washy at all unless you are hitting like 70 foot booters. don't talk out of your ass.

  • Yeah. I can stomp 30 footers plus on the rocker boards. I don't hit anything much bigger than that (I usually stay on the rails) so for me its perfect.

  • @MadRopes man rocker can handle super booters just as well as camber. don't talk out of your ass.

  • @monkey298 really? cause i've actually hit huge jumps with my skate banana and the shit feels mad squirlely. thats why i have a regular camber board for booters and the skate banana for everything else. eat a dick homo

  • k2 abandoned it in its skis cause rocker feels like absolute shit on skis, i do both and i have a old retro set or k2 rocker all mountain skis and they feel like absolute shit, i do hae a skate banana and i love it, i dont find it lifeless at all because im able too put life into it, when ur a acomplishe snowboarder u can make anyboard feel amazing be that som one from wall mart or a banana, personally i love my banana and when its old and peeling im gonna pick my self up another one :)

  • @coolio155 burton blunt V- rocker feels amazing when i ride it

  • @16rs their for beginners

  • @XRobXEdgeX relax dude , stop trying to be a macho man saying REAL snowboarders should only ride old style boards. thats the kind of thinking id expect froms skiers back in the 80s to have. stop trying to set ur old style thinking to snowboarding ya kooky jock

  • would you recomend a rocker or camber for all mountain riding?

  • when u go with bannana they say u can go down from 1-3cm cuz u can still float in the pow just as good or better. i went down 2

  • i currently ride a 155 board. so what size can i go down to if i get a lib tech or gnu with banana tech?

  • same question for me.. but im riding a 158 burton board..plz help

  • i usually ride a 155 board

    i got a lib tech 151 narrow

  • Thing works.

    That is all.

I jumped up 2 levels of skill. Seriously. I still suck, but it looks stylish because everything is easier.

  • really nice review! not just another advertisement. Really helpful! but how does it handle rails? that wavy edge really looks like it loves to bite metal. and the pop? i'm guessing it's quite lousy? and control at high speed?

I would be really thankful if someone could answer :)

  • I have never ridden one, but I've heard you can detune a ton and be fine on rails but still have plenty of edge for turning.

  • to answer your question the pop is really good better than any burton board i have ridden and i forgot to detune my edges when i got mine and i was hittin rails with no caught edges. i love it and its control at high speeds is great even though its soft

  • thanks man !

  • i wana know how well this locks in when boardsliding a pole rail?

  • were can i buy the banana board? i live in British Columbia.. can someone send me a link to a site were they can ship it to me?

  • thanks for the help!

  • good review, I can vouch for the banana and the magne traction working on ice. Really helps you hold your edge over spooned, scooped, or regular edging.

  • Definitely a helpful video.

  • I've just orderd a Skate Banana from USA as we can't get them for love or money in Europe.... I really hope it's as good as everyone makes out!

  • That was a pretty good breakdown. Better than Sierra's bad vids or some others. Nice!

  • good shit man
