Also when I decorate my Christmas tree (I'm not religious at all, but i do celebrate holidays, not as serious as most people, but I see it as a day to get with family) I decorate it for the good intentions, I wouldn't worry about what you're doing is a "bad" thing to do, I simply see is as a tradition my family does for the good, rather than what you stated
