Age of Conan Dx10 Foliage and phyx

I ran Dx10 probably 30FPS everywhere cept around 19 ish in certain cities..of course vista also ran Dx9 at the same fps when I get around 40fps on XP....so it wasn't worth vista for the Dx10 (Waiting for windows 7 ;) )

but when I had it I never had the physX like you do, is there something I didn't click?

Dx10 should run better on windows 7 Depending on the PC you have.

The grass only has that is certain zones so far.

A friend of mine has basically the same system but with less than half the RAM, and a 9800 GTX. Gets about 90 FPS in closed area, 50 or so in open areas. Max settings with view distance slightly down

Just re-installed the game a few days ago.. Been away a long time now.. The game looks great and is fun to play but it's just.. fucked! It's like playing the beta all over again! :(

If you don't want to help y ou can play in Dx9 just fine with Great framerates. Dx10 will get better over time. I'd say just stick with it. AoC plays great on my PC the more info you send with you PC the better they fix settings for your PC.

AOC came out almost a year ago and they STILL don't have DX10 in??? Unfucking real. Hope you've enjoyed paying for all that beta testing. Might be worth trying again in 5 year...maybe 6?

LOTRO is Some Dx10 features. It's not truly a Dx10 game. AoC will have Every feature.

Funcom also doesn't have millions to toss around on a game.

its not physx, its a custom physics engine that runs on CUDA DX10, they will eventually add it for ATI cards

It should already be added with the ATI cards. Catalyst 8.12 added STREAM to ATI, which enables ATI users to make use of physics.
