  • The best Intro for NFL on Channel 4, shame they don't re-vamp it for their current coverage.

  • after that intro at the time it's superbowl XXIII

  • Probably the best title sequence to any tv programme EVER!! Thanks so much for posting.

  • I was wondering if anyone new the title of this intro song? Cheers

  • @Keysey78 Hi, the answer is in the title!

  • @YouMeandFresnoBob Well, yes the answer is in the title, except it's "Duel" by Propaganda...Thanks for the memories though, looking for one of the results sequences with "Classical Gas" in the background.

  • @danjsy Well spotted, my bad!

  • brilliant stuff! I have this on an old audio cassette that I recorded from the TV, before I had a vhs. cheers for the memories!

  • Unintentionally the broadcast of the NFL on a free to air UK channel had a profound concept influnce on the English Premiership in 1992.

  • F**cking brilliant! Cheerleader productions at its very best. This really was THE way to produce an American Football show. Absolutely love and miss those days. Live games late on sunday nights, Monday (or was it tuesday?) half hour show. Man I miss those days sooo much. I loved Walter Payton's reports, Gary Imlach's reports Mick Luckhurst's flubbed lines :D God I wish I had a timemachine!

  • Those were the days...nice vid :)

  • wicked.

  • I remember Mick from when he played American football for the Atlanta Falcons. I was a kid when I met him. 1 of many good guys they had on the team back then.

  • ah the good old days
