One can also take pearl sugar and sprinkle it onto a beat egg yolk brushed on before baking them as well. In Sweden they also use marsepan,( almond paste, from Denmark, ie Odense brand,) and or Kardemumma, ( cardemon, Eng.) instead of raisons and cinammon. But, that is all old, and there are plenty of modern variations one can find in the more creative baker's shops as well,

Its nice that youre trying to keep raisin lovers and non raisin lovers happy but trying to keep youtube commenters happy is impossible. Youll get complaints about something else like glaze vs non glaze. You shouldnt change your recipes for other ppl, I like them just the way they are!
