@SapphirePanorama Interesting point. However, their beliefs demand violence, and the Quran says that if the infidels are stronger, make a treaty of peace until you grow strong enough, then kill them. @Falkon85 Right, I understand that point in terms of the Muslims extremists that ardently follow the Quran. However, I think that most Muslims are not so extreme and aren't out to kill infidels. Being considered as a Muslim and being an extremely devoted Muslim are super different.

Former Muslims have specifically stated they rejoiced in private when they saw news of suicide bombings, yet denounced it when with infidels.So I ask you- how do you tell the difference between a truly peaceful Muslim (ignoring their own beliefs, already bad news), and one that is lying to make peace for now?

I am an ex-Muslim. Honesty, I believe Islam is evil. Reason: The Qur'an motivates Muslims to commit violence. It is an arrogant book. The scriptures are very aggressive, so it's hard for me to accept why anyone would commit to Islam.

If Islam did not exist this world would be a bit more calmer. I'm not saying no conflicts would exist, but these wars sparked by Islamic extremists wouldn't.

I resent Islam with all my being.

Interestingly the media (example NYT) said that Hitler was a peaceful man who was just reacting to American and British imperialism. They lulled the people into a stupor and no one snapped out of it until British soldiers were driven off the French coast and Paris was in the hands of stormtroopers.

@Mrihateseagulls The IRA was a rebel group that was not fighting a war on the world based on a religion. They were fighting to have their nation whole. Read your history not the news paper. point taken. what i meant to talk about was when Molotov said sarcastically,"religion of peace". i found it stupid that he wold group 1.8 billion people into a group because of the actions of a small percentage. what i meant was that therefor if the logic of group persicution is correct then we should persecute all irish as a whole because of the actions of the IRA. it was an analogy to the slippery slope that you would satrt down.

@Mrihateseagulls very well, I understand your idea. I work hand and hand with FOCUS Humanitarian on disaster relief and refugee work. They are a great organization, however the eye of the religion has been blackened by the cancer that has overwhelmed it. The British did persecute the Irish Catholics on the bases of the actions of the IRA. As a Catholic I am very aware of the troubles in the 1980's that occurred in my city that I grew up in, based on the part of town you lived.

Indeed the most honorable of you in the sight of God is the most righteous." Quran 49:13? the jihad quotes in the quran talk about fighting against the pagans of mecca who drove out Muhammad. Molotov also mentions the word muslim at least 6 times. read up bud.
