  • Singing in the rain, just singing in the rain, what a glorious feeeeling.....

  • I love BD. She was such a Diva! lmao DR is a hoot.

  • I love her. Hope she lives forever!!

  • Yeah Bette Davis...Dark Victory and Now Voyager are some of my favs

  • what a great line!

  • @tyjeffries she's been doing the same schtick for 50 years now, and you think it's a great line? where've you been? this old broad needs to move on with her life ... it's pathetic to keep talking about her divorce for 50 years!! those jokes weren't funny 50 years ago and they didn't get any funnier by repeating them 10 million times

total lack of talent or taste in this dame!

  • @BernardProfitendieu how do you know which line I am referring to. I think this 'talentless old broad' has achieved more than you will ever do in your life. You are a bore and have nothing to offer except bitterness. When you have entertained as many people as she has you can comment. And I am not even really a fan. its just your comment is so toxic and banal.

  • @tyjeffries it doesn't matter which line you were referring to - she only has 5 lines and she's been repeating them over and over and over and over again for the past 50 years! defending a no-talent dame like this one isn't one of your finest hours

p.s. nobody uses the word 'banal' without sounding like a complete dope!

  • @BernardProfitendieu oh goodness you are obviously just another one of those Youtube nutters...lol.

  • @tyjeffries oh, goodness!

  • @BernardProfitendieu lol...you are a real weirdo lol

  • @tyjeffries trust me, it's a good thing to be considered a weirdo by Debbie Reynolds fans!! I wouldn't want it any other way. I'll let you get back to watching that classic, "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" (now there's acting at its finest!)

  • @BernardProfitendieu I am not a fan as such... just not a fan of YOU pratt.

  • What a grand old lady. She'd be a great companion, someone you could stay up with talking all night with over booze and smoke. A real, completely formed woman. Where did they all go?

  • @antimatterXXXIII i could not have said it any better. can you imagine the stories? after a bottle or 2. god the questions i would have!

  • wats dark victory

  • You stupid son of a bitch, it's one of Bette Davis' finest performance on the screen, it was released in 1939 - the Golden year of Hollywood!

  • "Maybe I just want a good cry without having to go through a divorce."

Debbie Reynolds never ceases to amaze me. Love her!

  • halloween town<3

  • @mfg847

haha, halloween town is my favorite halloween movie!

  • OH MY GOSH DARK VICTORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God bless Debbie Reynolds!! I like her answer the best so far! Dark Victory was definitely a wonderful classic and Bette Davis was and forever will be a fabulous actress! :)

  • Yeeeeah, Dark Victory!

  • OKAY....why waste your time criticizing another persons taste? Nobody cares

  • Dark "Victory"!!! I meant Dark Victory! Lol! :P

  • Yayyyyy! Go Debbie! I LOVE Dark Voctory! Bette is AMAZING!

  • whoop whoop Dark Victory!

  • what a poker face! :) I love it

  • A born clown with so much talent, and she's still so pretty. A real class act that Debbie.

  • I love this movie too!!!

  • she looks like she would say "murder, she wrote"

  • LOL! Oh, yes, a good cry without a divorce. Well said!

  • Great comment, Debbie!

  • Haha she's so cute!

  • Debbie always had the BEST delivery! Laughed MAO!!!

  • BEST line at the end there. oh my god! lol

  • A smart, talented, honest, wonderful actress.

  • Debbie has always been one of my favorite actresses. Can't wait to see her in How The West Was Won at the Cinerama Dome on Sept 7th.

  • ;o)

Miss Reynolds charms are age resistent & she's one of the very few warm & generous film stars

(& Yes, her honorary oscar is long overdue :o)

  • I Agree with that.

A Honorary Oscar is Long Overdue for my Favorate Actress.

  • Dark Victory is definitely one of the best. Hope, heartache, light, and dark. Sacrifice and unconditional love. It's a tearjearker but without ever resorting to sappy tactics. A true classic.

  • Carrie Fisher has her eyes :)

  • yer she so does i saW her the other day in a mag i was like omg!

  • love it and she mentioned bette davis doble plus lovessssssssssss her but my fave movie ever is gone with the wind or gilda! lol um dark victory dosnt make me cry! love it low the one film that makes me cry no matter what mood im in is..........goodbye mr chips the one with greer garson so sad at the end when he says abot the children! 1 film that makes me laugh well i have 2 all about eve and gwtw! lovessssssssssssssssss it

  • could someone tell me what classic movie i should watch if i loved a clockwork orange

  • What a great line. A very wise woman and a terrific actress, too.

  • haha, that's funny

  • Debbie Reynolds is my All-Time favorite movie actress!!!!!!! She was SUCH a wonderful performer! I went to see her in concert last summer, and I think I was the only one under 20 there...maybe under 30...maybe 40....maybe 50......lol.....

  • This Lovely Lady is My All Time Favorate Actress.

She is Long Overdue For an Oscar.

  • Forever in my mind..she sings home in the meadow!!

  • Debbie -- classy and funny and unafraid to age. I see where her daughter, Carrie, gets her sense of humor from. Rock on, Ms. Reynolds!

  • I love the movies of Bette Davis, and Debbie Reynolds. And Angelina Jolie can give a decent performance, and may get better. Each era finds their stars who share their values. The trick is to know a great movie regardless of the year it was produced.

  • Again with the divorce comments! heehee I like her, but I wish it would stop.

  • oh boyy.. here she goes againnn.

  • she looks just as great as ever!

  • I love her movies. "Singing in the Rain" "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" "Halloweentown"...haha had to throw that one in there.

  • singing in the rain..<33

  • Or perhaps I'll understand their performances more as I grow older.

  • katharine hepburn is a screen legend. she also changed the way the world thinks today. she was one of the first actresses...women, to ever wear pants, she could have been fired but no one had the balls to do it. she is brilliant, and always will be. im 16 and i really DO know wht im talking about

  • Have you seen any Hepburn or Davis films like All About Eve,Bringing Up Baby,Jezebel,The African Queen,What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?, The Philadelphia Story ect.??? who do you think is a great actress then? Angelina Jolie?

  • Marianne, I am not saying you can't have read and watched everything on Bette Davis and Katherine Hepburn by the age of 16, but how can any of us really know what their off-screen personalities were like?

  • ive heard of dark victory but never seen it. wow, lots of ppls fav. movies are bette davis movies! ok let me be the first to say that debbie reynolds was such a hottie back in the day! really she was!

  • i like it that she gives credit to Bette

  • i be boinkin dat

  • Geez guys, Debbie Reynolds is an awesome actress. You may know her from Singin' in the Rain. Just look her up sometime, a truly wonderful actress.

  • Apocalypto is the best right now, who agrees with me?

  • Debbie Reynolds, a brilliant humand being who spent her early life trapped in her desire to be a 'good girl'.

  • Funny woman is Debbie Reynolds. Great line about having a good cry.

  • "We're friends with Debbie. I used to romp with her."

  • Thanks for sharing, Debbie. Nobody really cares.

  • who is this woman and why do i keep seeing her every where?!
