  • 'Sabrina Down Under SCUBA'

    10:29-10:55

  • whats this 1 about

  • i used to love sabrina!

  • I don't get, Vallarie was a mermaid who hated humans all along?

  • I would love to go to the great barrier reef its so beautiful.... *sigh*

  • salem looks exactly like my cat, Blacky/Shadow/Kitty/Cat/Vincent (we call him a LOT of stuff).

  • YES! THANK YOU SO FREAKIN' MUCH! I just found the book at a bookstore (i just got into sabrina a few years ago- i'm fourteen, sue me) and i was searching all over for the movie on Google! I didn't think it would be HERE (along w/ the complete 3ed season of H2O, and Professor Layton & the Eternal Diva, which i didn't really get... gah! That's not the point!)!!!! THANKS!!!!!!!!

  • ITS TARA STRONG!

  • Haha Hamilton Island I've been there!

    Aussie all the way

  • This is my favourite Sabrina movie coz I live in Australia

  • Roman from Home and Away! <3

  • still cant believe that is tara strong the best voice actress in the world. she can pull off soooooooooooooooo many different voices, so well i thought she was really british when i saw the sabrina in rome movie.

  • i've never watched this cuz i hate mermaids, but what the hell. i love sabrina and might as well watch it

  • This movie should be on GO! Australian Digital channel.

  • Salem!!!

  • oh man thank you never seen this one :D

  • OMG Tara Strong as Gwen :P That was before she married tho so she was Tara Charendoff then :P

    Love this movie :P

  • I cant understand his accent and i'm from Australia?!?!?

  • @daveross76 That's why actors should be careful before just "doing an accent." I know Tara Strong (Gwen) tends to actually talk to people from the region so she gets whatever accent she's supposed to do right. That way it sounds right to people internationally :P

  • @khcrazy10 Actually whats even worse is most of the cast are Australian bar Sabrina, Salem, Gwen and the two mermaids..Thats what makes it worse

  • God I love living in Australia, but seriously who talks like that?

  • I wish this would be put on dvd i love the sabrina movies.

  • @pswik09 Sabrina goes to rome is available on the dvd of season 8

  • @daveross76 Is there Season 8?

  • @daveross76 Is there Season 8?

  • @mssiti08 Sorry season 7

  • OMGOSH YAY MERMAIDS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hmmm...weird, I've never seen this one...

And AWESOME! They're using Nick Bakay as Salem's voice (instead of that dumb other voice in the first movie)..THIS Salem just sounds like...Salem lol...

and lol "finally! a witch-free week!"

  • No one I know or have heard in Aus speaks with that much of our supposed "slang" in one sentence. I've only ever heard that accent and jargon used in overseas television and movies.

  • k this really seems like a low budget movie. but as they say dont judge a book by its cover!

  • nobody talks like that in australia -_- oh stereotypes you make me mad

  • It is annoying that alot of movies really play up on steyotypes!!

  • @november132 haha! I was thinking of alf too! Guy even had a voice similar to his :p

  • Haha real Salem wasn't talking. Fail. And robot Salem never even drink his drink and said "yum". Lol. Plus, whats with their diving outfits?! 0_0

  • that's not australian slang that's jibberish! (well some of it haha)

  • lol i've been where this movie was shot. even sat on the same seats/swam in the same pools etc. this movie is so FAKE compared to how it really is! for one thing there's way more people in certain scenes and way to few in others haha. doesn't mean i don't love this movie though lol

  • Thanks for putting this up. But I been looking everywhere for a better quality but it all seems to be tvrip everywhere. This is available on VHS but no one seems to have a video rip just a crappy tvrip

  • I'm Australian and I can't figure out what he means by too many steak and kidneys. Can anyone help me out?

  • @Bridgiedidge5 JW do you live in Australia??

  • @Bridgiedidge5 i think he means other people? not sure. but that's what it seems like?

  • wow my fav sabrina the teenage movie i hope n prey they put this on dvd one day its the best :)

  • at 4.16 i thought that was alf from home and away for a sec

  • man all i been thinking about is sweet dreams by byonce and super bass by nicki manj

  • Can't you hear the thunder?

  • Damn i thought this was a Melissa Joan Hart Porno

  • how come sabrina isnt dating harvey in any of the movies??

  • no offense no one can hear there own accent. so if you are from a country and try to say you don't sound like that well, 90% of the time you do to people that aren't from where you live. we Americans have accents we just don't hear them cause we are around them all the time. i just love this movie cause its a childhood show and reminds me of good times watching Sabrina movies and tv shows with my mom.

  • @burkley18

I've met Australians that have lived in Australia their entire lives and they sound nothing like this to me xD

  • i dont think jerome is rlly australian!

  • the only one who sounds normal is the doctor

  • Is this the only sabrina movie?

  • Comment removed

  • @upbeatandbubbly no there's the 'original' (which doesn't have as many good one liners) and one where she goes to rome which is like this one. the best writers are in the series.

  • Thanks so much for uploading this!!!! AHHH i remember watching this when i was a kid!! i loved Sabrina!! :)

  • wtf are the "Australians" saying?

  • NEMO

  • i agrey u,i been australia,it was abit diffrent from the movie,i saw the reef underwater,i did not think much of it,but rest of australia is amazing

  • that dude at the end really is australian though, he wasnt putting on the accent, lol

lol and that blond guy is from home and away and all saints, conrad colby, jeez guys, don't you know your people.

  • that dude at the end really is australian though, he wasnt putting on the accent, lol

  • it seems weird theres no people laughing in the background

  • never seen this one glad it was posted

  • lol im sorry but those are probly the ugliest wet suits i have EVER seen lol :)

  • lol im australian n i ddnt understand wht the fuk he said either, lol hu the fuk sez "hooroo" <<< 4 bush aussis hu r lyk 50 lol

  • Sabrina is such a babe :)

  • Why did she fly on a helicopter for 12 hours instead of just using her magic and teleporting there

  • @DanRan345 even witches appreciate the scenery lol

  • @DanRan345 Sometimes it's not the destination that counts, but the journey. :)

  • @DanRan345 What a good question?

  • @DanRan345 then she wouldn't have "seen" the mermaid lol

  • Sabrina, the teenage witch. Watched this always when I was a teenager

  • that's f***ed up daisy. lol. I swear the least visited place in oz is the actual capital. if you know ehre that is and you aren't australian then you get a cookie.

  • Wow Thanks for posting. It means alot

  • Comment removed

  • im english and i dont sound like that AT ALL !!!

  • Cain wait to watch tjis m

  • Salem gets total access? WOW!

  • anybody know when the mermaid is shown more i just wanna skip to that part

  • Why was she on a plain for 12 hrs? SHES A WITCH!

  • this was on 5 days before Melissa's movie Drive Me Crazy was in theaters

  • wtf? hahahahahhaha i could not stop laughing at the 'australian' accents. we sound absolutely nothing like that and who says "he sounds as mad as a gumtree full of gulahs" ? just for anyone at there i would like to clarify, as someone who has lived in australia my whole life. we do not sound like that and DO NOT speak in any of those ways or use those sayings :L

  • Is this movie suppossed to take place after season three, and before season four?...

  • I love this movie, too. Thanks for the upload.

  • omg omg I <3 sabrina!

  • Thanks uploader! This is my childhood!

  • This is SUCH a cliché Australia, I mean I have NEVER heard anyone here talking like they do and for goodness sake I don't understand him either... and I have lived here my entire life and have never gone overseas!!

It's amusing though... How they make all the guys hot surfers with really broad accents and all the girls bikini chicks.

Also why do we look so dumb? I mean I swear some of those guys have a pea-sized brains... Hot and stupid.

I wish someday they'd make a movie in NORMAL Australia

  • @TheTardisDreamer hey u guys look better than the irish :L i never heard someone with such a silly and cute accent over here . . . most of them talk like druggies >_> especially in my school :L

  • @stoneoffarel Irish accents are awesome!!! No kidding, I know so many people who love your accent!!

  • @TheTardisDreamer Thanks XD i would love to see austrailia sometime :P looks like a fun place

  • @stoneoffarel Yeah... It's got a lot more to it then what the movie shows! I'd love to go to Ireland too!! When I finally get to go overseas :(

  • @stoneoffarel it is amazing and the weather <3 hahah lucky enough to live theree

  • @alwaaysdanciing lucky duck ;D

  • @TheTardisDreamer It was the nineties, and it was Sabrina the Teenage Witch. What did you expect? They were never about portraying intelligent teens. Otherwise, they'd never have had a show. Sabrina wouldn't have gotten into all of her ridiculous hijinks, and they wouldn't have made nearly as much money.

  • @bublay3 Yeah but the stereotyping gets old in about five seconds. We have heaps of things they could make fun of that that are really stupid and funny for us too... This just has the kind of jokes you'd find in a bad elvis movie or something... It might've been slightly more acceptable if they made fun of things we actually say rather than making up terms none of us get...

  • @tashrenee89 That's pretty much how I feel about every movie that is set in the SouthEastern USA. lol. They always use the most extreme accent possible and generally the person doing the accent isn't even from the area.

  • HAH, I'm aussie and I dont even know what that dude meant by "I was afraid there might be too many stake and kidneys about."

And lollywater? Are you joking? XD

  • what season is this

  • @lizardluver1 Its a movie ;P

  • how many sabrina movies are there lol!

  • @paLeevang as far as I know, three XD

  • Australian accent is better than Swedish Skånska at least XD

So long time ago, since I watched this movie!

  • if you're going to take something away from this video/page and assume it correlates with australian culture, go for how pretty the barrier reef is and how annoyed we get when people try to stereotype us.

what you should leave behind is how rude some of us have been in the comment section and the terminology. prawns, not shrimps, not lolly water, not too-roo, not steak'n'kidneys. if you want to take the piss, "g'day" is okay in moderation.

no, adelaide, your accent isn't the fanciest

  • wgy does Salme look like a real cat!!!

  • don't they get australians to play australians though?

  • @narniaslan47 Not usually, I have met and know a lot of people from Australia, family friends and people who have moved to the states, their accent isn't anything like it is portrayed in the movies, not usually anyway, it is a lot softer from my experience and not nearly so pronounced, if you ever talk to someone who is from there you will see what I mean :)

  • @heatherjoy23 Oh, Ok. I never new that. Thanx.

  • NO ONE SAYS HURU! LOL

  • Sabrina's cute English friend is played by an actress from North America.Nobody in London talks like that, except American actresses playing Londoners. And at least you have koalas and kangaroos in Australia. When Americans make films here they use American animals and birds such as skunks, porcupines, cardinals, bobolinks, bluebirds and American robins.

  • @mrmegahousefly i know americans make sterotypical english people or australian

  • at first when she said no salem, i was like, this movie ain't gonna be good!

  • @cheeseplease62

Yeah thats either a show or a movie not real life.

    Au

  • ohmigod. Just realized that Gwen is Tara Strong as in one of the BEST voice actors ever!

  • lmao'' we crash i die happy

  • yay gewns back.. shes soo cute,

  • heeyyy some aussies have kangaroos as pets, and it depends on where you live in australia. im on a farm and we see kangaroos everyday and its just a movie. australians make fun of other countries accents, so theyre basically just doing the same thing, over doing it so everyone knows where theyre from, its just part of the industry

  • What's the music that starts at 3:03 minutes?

what it's called the music of 3:03 minutes?

    thanks!! :)

  • woow everyone needs to chill out and just watch the movie!!

    SAVE THE DRAMA..

  • @xXAsHLeYwiLLyXx

    thank you! finally some sense.

  • why is evryone so stressy over the accent stuff, im british n i dnt write on every american film with a 'british' character in it about the steryotype lol :s

  • geezuz... I only ever talk like that when I'm being sarcastic... please, could someone kick Jerome in the water and leave him there? I am ashamed to recognise him as an Australian!

...but then, I suppose he has to pay his rent somehow... and if it's pretending that's how we really talk... I guess that's what he has to do... poor bugger.

  • why does Sabrina's hair turn dark when it's wet?

  • @minhtrangnguyen94 why is the banane curved?

  • @minhtrangnguyen94 water tends to darken hair

  • @babybutterflyjam yup :)

  • So cool her friend from Sabrina Goes To Rome is in this movie too. I wish they would do another movie like this one only this time it's Sabrina and Harvey and their married maybe have a couple of kids

  • life was so much better back then

  • I live pretty much where this film was set and we don't talk like that lol well sometimes when travelers come and we trick them into believing about the killer drop bears. Haha

  • I live pretty

  • Haha, I have to agree.. I'm Australian and I sound nothing like that. These actors may be Australian, but their just hyperbolising their accents! BIG TIME And I couldn't understand a WORD that guy said! Who talks like that?

  • Comment removed

  • Never thought I would say this, but DAMN do I sure miss how tv shows & movies were back then!

  • Well, since Australians are defending themselves, I may as well point out that the way Gwen talks is NOT representative of how us Londoners talk. She does one of the worst impressions I've ever heard. Also, I know it's unrelated but I hate it when people say 'British accent' - yes, we know what you mean... but there is no such thing. Britain has a vast number of different accents. Continuing to say 'British accent' is ignorant and annoying.

  • because large dimples are especially sexy??

  • It's so stupid when they make us (Australians) sound like idiots. We don't actually talk like that AND just so everyone knows... i've only seen about 5 koalas and kangaroos in my entire life (21 years) & most of them were at a zoo so if you were wondering they are not everywhere & we dont have them as pets...and we dont talk like that!

  • @tashrenee89 lol i dunno bout the rest of the country but i work with a guy who recently moved here from australia and he does in fact speak like that, and it's common sense people don't have koalas and kangaroos they are very dangerous animals if not cared for properly, i'm sure i don't have to tell you a kangaroo will kick you with striking force and probably damage your insides to no repair if hit with their full power, not to mention koalas with their intensely strong claws..

  • @tashrenee89 i've never stepped foot in australia but that is all stuff i learned in like.. elementary school.

  • @tashrenee89 last one but if australians don't really speak like that why is it the actors in the movie are from australia, IMDB it and look at their backrounds, MANY of the actors in this movie are in fact austrailian. so before you get all in a tizzy do some research.

  • @xXxXBleedPurpleXxXx Honestly, you can't form an opinion based on 1 Australian guy & some imdb profiles. HA! I don't need to research!! I LIVE HERE!!!!! I've NEVER used any of the phrases in this movie nor do i know anyone who has (unless we're taking the piss out of some other countries portrayals of the aussie slang). Hell, i even looked up Australian slang and i have never used 85% of those words.

  • @tashrenee89 um... once again... they are all from the same place you are from... i think that says it all.

  • @xXxXBleedPurpleXxXx You are so ridiculous! CLEARLY, there are heaps of Australians that have looked at this video and every single one of them are commenting on how stupid they make Australians sound. I'm not going to argue because i know im right and you are ignorant! Hows about you get your ass off the couch and travel

  • @tashrenee89 jfc dont get your panties all in a twist the fact is a ton of the actors are austrailian, i work with a guy whos australian, and he sounds exactly like the guys that were out fishing, so... again... untwist your fucking panties and watch the damn movie

  • @tashrenee89 im australia and I TOTALLY agree you rock

  • @tashrenee89 Ha I know, they exaggerate everyone's accent, try being Irish...It's painful when people try to do our accents! You just have to laugh it off though!

  • @CandyHeart65 I think it must be an American film thing.....anyone from a certain country has this over-the-top accent, I've noticed it in English characters aswell.....no common english person sounds posh.

  • @CandyHeart65 i agree! i think its very funny wen ppl try to do our accent! its like ok only farmers who are lik 90 talk like that any more!!!

  • @tashrenee89 it depends where you are from really.I am from melbourne & i notice that people in melb dont really hve a very strong aussie accent..especially those with a european background & then u get a few with the "wog/muzza"accent(muzza=boys of southern european decent livin in melbourne who have usually never been there & tend to wear trackies & shuffle dance)& then u hear some people with that bogan accent...& in melbourne a kangaroo did make its way into the city in 2008 :P

  • @tashrenee89 i no how you feel! they same thing with Irish accents, etc! the Americans love their sterio types!!

  • @tashrenee89 I'm scottish and we always get made out to be idiots in films!! it really annoys me too!

  • @tashrenee89 And even if there are Aussies that actually speak like that, I don't know why people have a hard time understanding them.

  • @tashrenee89 wait what about tarantulas???...those things stop me from going to australia... :/

  • @tashrenee89 Who? The helicopter pilot? He had a hot accent! Y'all all sound amazing!!!

  • @tashrenee89 it's hollywood, so don'y worry :) but i can see what ya mean!

  • @tashrenee89 geez calm down, will ya? It´s not like they insulting you, so you don´t have to act so sensitive. Besides they can talk how they want

  • @tashrenee89 Don't worry about it, American films always portray other countries a bit strangly. I'm English and I can promice you we do not speak like Gwen or Huge Grant, we don't have bad teeth, we don't sit around drinking tea and eating crumpets either. lol

  • @smergyl I should hope not. Its the same when americans are portrayed its always the loud disturbing people that are shown. never whats really real. It's all stereotyped everywhere. I could bet you a hundred bucks (USD) that if you see a movie, it's never really how people in the diff countries rlly speak.

  • @smergyl Yeah i no right? People dishonor korean ansesters. Twe Kwon doh is pronounce Tech kwon dough(like bread!) And they say stupid kung fu action like eagle fist! Wtf!

  • @smergyl It's so true but you get way better accents than us scottish they make us sound sorta irish!!

  • @smergyl Gwen is a Brit (or as he said pommy) like me (:

  • @KayleeIsEpic99 Gwen's american pretending to be a brit

  • @smergyl ur right they sit around and eat jaffa cakes ;3

  • @uasmin

Well that's true for me xD I'm British (English to be more accurate) and I love jaffa cakes :3 not sure about any other Brits though xD

  • @smergyl

I find it funny though how they portray Brits as all the same when we couldn't be more different, I mean there's Scottish, English, Irish and Welsh and we all have our different accents and traditions but in their films when there is someone from Britain they are always speaking the "Queen's English" lol!

  • @smergyl i do im rich

  • @smergyl Amen to that one. I don't even eat crumpets, I have my usual check up's at the dentist, we don't all eat Muffins, hardly any of us drink tea with our pinky up in fine china (usually a greatest sister mug) and I don't talk like I have a poker up me ass. American's always get it wrong. Pfft.

  • @smergyl To be fair I'm a brit and I do love a good crumpet! lol but seriously even I get amazed when someone speaks in a "comercial" british accent. Heard someone say "smashing" in a nigel thornberry voice and was obsessed lol.

  • @tashrenee89 Australians actually sound a bit british to me. I'm American. Don't worry about it. No one is ever truly truthful when it comes to different countries. All stereotypical. You know the americans and the tourist thing? Fanny Packs, Toe Socks, Flip Flops, & bad sun burns. Although now that u mention it I've never seen a toursit like th@ in my life. I live in a historical area here so we get lots of tourists. Anyways, point is I never beleive the movies unless they're made by th@ cntry

  • @tashrenee89 i know where your coming from im englush i hate tea, and jellybeans and im pretty sure i dont talk oladidy darish

  • @tashrenee89 i know where your coming from im English i hate tea, and jellybeans and im pretty sure i dont talk oladidy darish
