You know... I thought about this before but what if the Japanese dub is also bad and we just think it's good because it sounds good yet we don't understand the language itself to understand the reactions and emotions to the words that they are saying. Even if you translate it it's not the same. lol.. just thinking..... too much hate :/ i'm just used to playing RPG's w/o voice acting because of the Gameboy and DS and PS1 RPGs

You can tell the Japanese actors put more effort into their roles than the English ones. They even went out of their way and used EX Shoryuken instead of the standard one we get. You know passion goes into your work when you openly burn EX meter for it. Not once did the English actors flash yellow in their recording booths.

Alf voice is the only voice that works in this game. Other than that, the Japanese voice owns the american dub. Sad, the story isn't that bad, its just the voice work that makes it unbearable.

Alf's VA actually plays his role of "level-headed hero" quite well and consistently, IMO.

The english dub is hilarious! The game itself looks pretty good if you can get past the voicing
