It was obvious the original plan for the show was Lucas/Peyton, but sometimes you see that something else clicks better and have to chuck the original plan. Lucas/Brooke clicked a lot better than Lucas/Peyton ever did.

I mean the cheating scandal occured during Season 3 didn't it? When Brucas were at their most intimate, and it continued despite that. So I'm inclined to believe Mark's telling the truth and not just putting it on as a means to deal with that adversity. o.O

I think Mark Schwan said that just so people didn't blame Chad for it. I know a lot of Brucas fans were literally putting out death threats o.o they loved Lucas but not Chad.

I still think that Brucas were supposed to stay; if not...gosh this show is really double crossing. Too many relationships then.
