i used that nailpolish remover and it was so harsh it ate my skin and made it dry and peel and crack

@MissSatyaDanu Wow, sorry to hear that!! we haven't had that happen with it, so it could be a sensitivity you have to an ingredient. In that case, we'd say it's best for you to stay away from it altogether.

what makes the Revlon polish that you used "SAFE"?

It has no formaldehyde or other very toxic ingredients. It would qualify as a LOW level of toxicity as it has some silicone & petro based ingredients, but much safer than most.

An even safer option would be a water based polish, but performance isn't near as good.

would the nail polish be hard to remove if it's made with eyeshadows? compared to normal nail polish....

The ingredients they use in most polishes to produce color are dyes & pigments. The eyeshadows are milled down pigments, so not as intense, so if anything doing polish this way will have a little less holding power....BUT will be MUCH safer! =)

Yeah~ I just try it tonight once i finish my work home.

Using my rarely use mineral eye-shadow pigment (which is in flesh tone color) and it turns out so amazing with just one coat and I got a matte finishes. OMG~ I am so loving it~

@luvmyhair2 Eyeshadow originates as pigment, so you could. You'd just need to crush it up to do so. =)

you could take out a couple ml of the clear polish in a tiny well like dish so that you don't have to keep cleaning the brush before each dip.. =) Great idea.. I never thought of using mineral pigments for nails!
