How'd you get sound on yours? I play back mine on the computer and nothing! I'm now on camera number 2 as i returned my first one..... Where's the sound gone!
@ThatSoGisselle The mic works fine underwater. When shooting other than underwater, its volume is very low. I guess this is because it's optimized for underwater.
You see, underwater sound is so low, that if it was optimized for other uses, it would be too much to bear for the microphone underwater.
@bnt2397 hey i have one of those too.. i love it but i get no sound when i record! Is mine broke? did urs automatically have sound or is there something i need to do? im so mad! ugh :p
i have a question can it focus on things good like words on a newspaper? and does it zoom good? if it can zoom good & focus good could u make a vid of it if u have time :)
@CraftyKinz No, it does not have a macro lens, which is needed to take pics at small text. But try holding a manifier in fornt of the lens while taking the pic. You may get lucky.
@dimitrisasp There are no settings for vieo recording other than timer. All videos are recorded with the same qquality and resolution: 640*480 @30 FPS.
Aaa now im definately going to buy this now, everyone always says how crappy the quality is on this camera but i think this is very good tbh! make a vid of the pictures youve taken as well would be good to see! thanks for the video :)
@TheMinimoviemaker You can't hear the sound from the video on the camera, sadly. You have to hook the camera up to your computer, or take your SD card out from it & click on the video to watch it, that is when you can hear the sound.
@babidrahma It has held up very well! I do recommend this too! Just remember after you take it in the pool, ocean, or wherever, make sure to wash it off with regular water so the chlorine or salt water doesn't ruin it

How do you get the sound on the camera? i just got one today and i tried video taping and i cant hear any sound from the video :'(

@TheMinimoviemaker You can't hear the sound from the video on the camera, sadly. You have to hook the camera up to your computer, or take your SD card out from it & click on the video to watch it, that is when you can hear the sound.
