Stalin was a crazy paranoiac and mass murdered who almost ruined Russia (Great Purge, anyone? how about the Holodomor?), but coward is the last thing he was. Let's put it this way: his son Yakov was captured by the Germans, who offered to trade him for the captured German Marshal Von Paulus. Stalin's reply: "I don't trade a Marshal for a Lieutenant". Man of Steel, indeed.
@TheAngryPhilosopher8 yes, however, one of the reasons he killed so many people was because he was paranoid. Take Leon Trotsky, Stalin killed Trotsky since he was paranoid, Trotsky was never plotting anything against him.
@curryeater259 You are listening to Tchaikovsky, listening zhrugih composers you listen to Russian poetry I love you'll get out of the ground I will tear the heart and make you eat your heart Paranoid STALIN WAS NOT WHAT YOU KNOW ABOUT RUSSIA? If Red Army in ww2 was poor, their Air Force was even worse compared the other air forces (USAF, RAF, Luftwaffe...). They never learnt real skillfull action.
@tranmere789 Even if this is true, Red Army liberated Europe. But that is not true!USSR produced few aircraft that have become a WW2 legends, like Il-2, Yak-3, MiG-3...Il-2 probably destroyed more tanks than any other aircraft of all sides.
that poster at 0:40, the airplanes- look almost iddentical to the german me 262. not to mention the me 262 but among other german planes those russkies sure benefitted from deutsch technologie
@HeartGoldMVP true the Il-28 there was simmilar to the Me-262, but the Americans and British did the exact same thing, that is warfare with advanced technology the losing side has everything they've discovered exploited but that's not to say the allies discovered all their postwar technology in Germany. But I didn't realise the Russians took from other German airframes? enlighten me?
@MrFrostmourne1 what you say is true, the F-86 sabre and the MiG 15 were both based of the sweep wing design of the Focke Wulf 183 Huckebein. Others include the Czech Avia which were based off Bf 109 and Me 262. The british got their ramjet technology from the german Lippisch P13
@AmericanGi370 ehm, I don't want to affrond you, but there are many documentaries that shows, that the national socialists stealed it from the soviets. ;)
A: The soviets, while at the forefront of scientific progress in many areas of science, were admittedly not there in the field of biology.
B: The technology to clone animals didn't even exist until after the breakup of the Soviet Union. Dolly, the first ever cloned mammal, was born in 1996 whereas the Union broke up in 1991.
The Soviet Union was in no way "MASTER of cloning". (not that I, personally even see much wrong with cloning, but that's another topic)
I don't think that British Mosquito was ground strike aircraft. I don't know its exact designation. I may have to do some research on that. However if I remember correctly it was long range strategic bomber. IL 2 was Shturmovik was a ground strike aircraft. Unquestionably the best plane of its class . Even superior to Luftwaffe's HE 129 used extensively at Kursk battle for attacking Soviet armour.
. Russian music sounds very rough, however background music was good. Red Airforce packed lot of punch. Especially I liked IL -2 Shturmovik ground strike aircraft . Unquestionably best plane of its class. More than a match to Luftwaffe's JU-87 Stukas.
I heard the music of "March of Soviet Air Force" between 0:14:50 and 0:15:40 in "Triumph des Willens" . Anyone knows why both Nazi Germany and Soviet used the same music, please kindly advise.

Very interesting song, comrade. They say this is often playing in cozy militairy officiers lounges too.
Strange how this "Все выше, и выше, и выше" can give such an effect, isn't it. A great effect, that is. =)
PS: please make sure you have the full song in the video next time! =) 2 more seconds and it would had been perfect!
Thank you for the share!
