  • this ship really was eye caandy, so gracefull.. modern ships ar just ugly (calm down everybody, i am just judging the looks here) ;)

  • @Flamorgan no but im sorry to tell you it was 1912

  • @Flamorgan no u uncivilized baboon. It sank 1912 get your facts right

  • @Flamorgan But, Andrews was co-designer and then construction manager at Harland and Wolff. Conceivably he was forced by the owners to comply with the minimum in terms of lifeboats and reduce the number, but he cannot be absolved. According to "historyonthenet" the White Star Line publicity brochure produced in 1910 for the twin ships Olympic and Titanic states that those two vessels were designed to be unsinkable. So, it seems that Titanic was indeed being commercialized as such.

  • 0:08 nice fake rolex.

  • 0:48 nice mustage :D :D :D :D

  • wouldnt you just love to own both of them models, before and after.

  • why has that model got any american flag on it ?. shes never had that on her.

  • Sad to think that the Titanic's tragedy could have been prevented (or diminished) by a more humble approach to her design. Just to think that they could build a ship that is unsinkable is a testimony of utmost pride. Her wreck is a monument to human arrogance.

  • I meant to say he did not

  • It was partly Captain Smiths fault, although he did boy create the iceberg (nature did duh) he got tons if iceberg warnings telling him to be careful. Its rumored the Bruce Ismay persuaded Smith to go faster so that they could surprise the passengers and make headlines.

  • Titanic was both a natural disaster and a man made one. For although an iceberg caused the ship to sink it's sad to say that the whole event could have been prevented. there were lots of decisions that had they been decided correctly then Titanic never would have sank. As for the comment in will there be any skulls in a Titanic exhibit there should never be any. It has been exactly 100 years (this April) since the sinking so there are no human remains left to salvage.

  • Titanic was a natural and a Man caused. although the ship struck an iceberg, its sad ti say that the whole event could have been prevented in several different ways. Ways that had nothing to do with Nature.

  • @catkeena YUP YOU ARE RIGHT NATURE WAS NOT RESPONSIBLE CAPTAIN SMITH WAS HE WAS THE CAPTAIN IN CHARGE HE WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR GROUNDING 3 OTHER SHIPS AND COAL FIRES ON 2 OTHERS AND THEY GAVE HIM TITANIC OOPS

  • @catkeena CAPTAIN SMITH WAS RESPONSIBLE HE WAS THE CAPTAIN IN CHARGE OF THE SHIP BUT HE WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR GROUNDING 3 OTHER SHIPS AND COAL FIRES ON 2 OTHERS AND THEY GAVE HIM TITANIC OOPS

  • Will we be seeing any skulls retrieved from the wreckage? They could be fitted out with gold "grills" and sunglasses and nameplates. This would give them a sporty look like the ones from the edward fitsgeralde.

  • MichelPFukuda kkkkk nadavee vc achando uee!!!

  • How did i get here ?

  • It does not compare to the Holocaust. If you don't know why, I believe you are incapable of ever knowing, and won't waste my time explaining. And a clue, it's not even the numbers, though that counts too I think. To equate a natural disaster with murder, is not usually even considered.

  • @unabnats He wasn't comparing the sinking to the Holocaust. Listen to the man. Learning about the history of a tragic event leaves you with a certain feeling...it doesn't matter which event it was. He was talking about the feeling, not the event itself.

  • @unabnats the sinking of a ship is not a natural disaster, by the way.

  • Titantic ??
