  • It's true, everyone just really wants honesty. In politics, relationships, music.

    We all just want honesty.

  • what dvd is this off of?

  • @Wolfgang9699

The OLP Live DVD that was recorded in 2005 I think.

  • @Wolfgang9699 The greatest DVD ever.

  • I love this interview, but I hate how he basically described how the band would later sound. You can't tell me that Burn Burn didn't sound slicked up and "overdone". I know that they mean well, but "all you did..." was basically written with the idea of getting radio play. They aren't so stupid as to play non-radio friendly music, but seriously, it seems sort of hypocritical of them to talk that way.

  • Meh, just relax and enjoy what they have given us.

  • @DanaGman I agree they dont owe us anything

  • @mmjahink Burn Burn doesn't sound slicked up and "overdone". "All You Did" was not written for radio play - these guys, at this point, are doing well enough on their own. They're not answering to a label anymore, and just because you're not into what they're doing now doesn't mean they've sold out or are being ingenuine.

I must agree with this comment. Burn Burn is a poor album. The only one on the album that makes it worth hearing is Steve, which given that he is just one of four people, makes the album a huge let down. It was over-produced, and by far their worst album to date. Sure they can do what they want, but they won't be in the studio all summer because the album was good. They have to make a comeback, and hard if they are to bounce back from a bad album and low tour turn out.

  • @mmjahink I like your opinion.

  • fukin rights i wish i was there lol..lived in edmonton 2 and lol...there r in the oilers dressing room woo..lol

  • I LOVE OLP! I wish you guys would play in the States more! I REALLY wanna go to a show!:-(

    =|

    <3

  • i wish bands like the jonas brothers and fall out boy could hear that part about selling out :)

  • Me too :(. It's really sad where music is heading these days.

  • @DanaGman

There have always been sell outs in music. In fact, most pop culture icons are complete sell outs, who will suck whatever cock and ride whatever fad they have to in order to meet the "bottom line." That line has always been the same... Money. Some make music for the sake of music. Those people are musicians. Those making for a buck are salesmen, and idiots are their targets. There is nothing new about that at all. Good music is always threatened by sell outs.

  • Real people. Sincerity seems so rare among rock stars nowadays,

  • very true leylalinda....and the oilers locker room...what a place for an interview

  • the most down to earth band ive ever listened to.

    love these guys!!
