Here is a random suggestion; I bet that if you make an orchestrated remix of the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon music, it might be a big hit (especially since the PMD series has been known to have fitting music and very emotional storyline.)

I'm completely self-taught, which...has its pluses and minuses. XD Some formal music education would be nice to have for a change.

Well, you don't exactly have to do that. If you haven't already, you could try contacting other musicians like GRonnoc, who may not only be willing to help, but would also be fully capable of creating on-par music in terms of quality.

I don't know whether you're accepting help, but I think you should consider the idea - if the quality isn't good enough, you can just reject submissions, after all.

@Midimania100 It's very tempting...and no offense, I love what GRonnoc does and the work of other arrangers I've collaborated with--but working with multiple people can make a single project infinitely frustrating for me. There are just a lot of opinions, a lot of organizing, and sometimes conflict that makes it difficult to work with each other. I tried doing this before, and suddenly it becomes less about the music and more about delegation of roles. Not fun. I'd rather do it all myself. :)

@skotein Well, Pokemon does have a tendency to listen to requests if the same request is coming from many people. They have considered making remakes for Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire after hearing many requests online for it.

I think they should really partner up with James Cameron or something. It would be a magnificent hit; especially with his skills in realistic digital animation from the movie AVATAR, he could totally make Pokemon look legit. It would be amazing... *Sigh*.
