  • Hardheaded old woman, isn't she? Of course, the Catalan is so backward culturally, that I'm surprised they're willing to use a video at all! And no, your mayonnaise is lousy.

  • @johnrk556 The only culturally AND mentally backward is you. You have obviously never had any culture or visited countries with a very rich culture.

  • @johnrk556

Do you know Dali, Miro, Pau Casals, Gaudi, Tarrats, Llimona, Sert, Ferran Adria, Pau Gasol, Xavier Cugat , Monserrat Caballe, Josep Carreras .... The list goes on...

Are they Catalan... or from Texas? Nevertheless the world is grateful for your cultural contribution... George Bush, Steven Seagal, The Dukes of Hazzard, Chuck Norris, Charles Manson, Anne Nicole Smith.....

  • @mediterraneanrecipes Not aligning with johnrk, but you artfully omitted Marlon Brando, Robert DeNiro, Dustin Hoffman, Jack Nicholson, James Dean, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ernest Hemingway, William Faulkner, Walt Whitman, Robert Frost, Jack Kerouac, Jackson Pollock, Alexander Graham Bell, Martin Luther King, Jr., Casablanca, Citizen Kane, Lawrence of Arabia, The Godfather, Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, etc. (among others). Don't blame Americans for one nationalistic imbecile.

  • PLEASE they make with egg because if you do it without egg you spend an hour but really ALLIOLI IS WITHOUT EGG!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • PLEASE!! DO NOT USE EGGGGGGG!!!!!!

VISIT CATALUNYA AND YOU WILL SEE HOW TO DO AN " ALL I OLI" (GARLIC AND OLIVE OIL)

  • @artnev We know catalunya extremely well, for this reason we have created this channel and the majority of Catalan restaurants they serve it with EGGGGGGG!!!!!!

  • @mediterraneanrecipes cap problema...doncs no poseu...

    Visca Catalunya

  • Ok nice salsa but better don´t call it -REAL- this is not real allioli. Allioli is made of olive oil, and garlic with a little bit of salt period. Put 2-3 clove and add oil slowly for the real thing ( me whole head and a white to make it creamy mixed in a blender, that´s very very strong but lasting few days better)

  • The real catalan allioli isn't the garlic mayonnaise of this video. Only have garlic, salt and oil, without egg or other ingredients.

  • Indigestion??? Fuck that!

  • But the man who make this allioli is slow as a pregnant turtle.

  • In catalan language ALL mean garlic , I, mean, and, and OLI mean oil then "ALLIOLI" MEAN GARLIC AND OIL.

    you are welcome.....

  • @cc197476 haha your so wrong dude.

  • there is acually an alioli though the recipe doesent call for eggs its more of a garlic emulsion very strong

  • doesnt the traditional catalan aioli have pear in it

  • I don't care how your pronounce it, it looks absolutely wonderful!

    Thank you!

  • would extra virgin olive oil give be too strong of an oil?

  • This is not aioli

  • @Aegistance oh, so what is it then? Original Allioli is just garlic and oil, but as you know that would be a bit too much, so the new recipee is with eggs. I'm from Catalunya, where are you from that you know so well this is not allioli??? oh, by the way, it's Allioli, not Aioli

  • @strawberrybabe23 Mallorca. Aioli not allioli. Get your fact right dude. Real aioli has no eggs.

  • enjoyed the video

  • enjoyable...good stuff

  • @SFKristian Ummm... I don't know what you have seen that has been passed off as Allioli!!! This is a catalan recipe and as I speak the language I do know how it's pronounced!!

  • @SFKristian Dear, Firstly, I don't know where you are from, but here in Catalunya (where it is from) it is pronounced just how it is on the video, All is garlic, and oli is oil!!!! And secondly, It is yellow because of the egg yalk and the oil.... So, before you say something you ought to know what you are talking about.....;)

  • @SFKristian fail. it looks perfect

  • Couldn't you just use a mixer like after the first break? Would be a lot easier, you'd only need to concentrate on the amount of oil.

  • @AsagrimHUN Hi, I have made it with a mixer from scratch but not halfway through. I like the texture much more from the "hand made" version. I will have to try your suggestion to see if the result is the same! It would make life a little easier.!! Regards

  • nice but "with a bite"? I made mine with 3 eggs and 6 cloves of garlic, thats 4 times the garlic you use, mine had "a bite"...

  • @nofreedomofspeech Wow!! I think I'd lose my firends with that amount!!! I'd love to try it though.

  • @nofreedomofspeech wow thats too much garlic :P

  • Sounds nice, I will have to try it!! Great video.
