This song was written back in 1947 by Buddy Kaye (w) and Billy Reid (m) and recorded by Andy Russell (Capitol); Johnny Desmond with the Page Cavanaugh Trio (victor); Mildred Bailey *(Majestic - a great vocal); Hildegarde (Decca); Jack Fina and his orch (Mercury); and Ray Anthony and his orch (Sonora) ... just to name a few from way back when.
@coreymoore01 Ahh nice I transcribed it about 4 months ago and took it to Solo and Ensemble Contest I've made it my everyday practice to transcribe songs I never get tired of it.
From the riverside album "Blue's moods" in 1959 or 1960. this was a departure from the quintet and sextets that Blue recorded with under the production of orrin keepnews at the time. This quartet allows Blue to stretch out more with that beautiful lyrical style of his and incredible tone. The perfect trumpet player for songs like this..

Oh thank you for posting this marvelous group. Don't hear this tight a group too often. Cookin' and swingin'. Loved Blue!
