  • This song reminds me of my Uncle whistling and singing Johan Pa Snippen as he worked. So many years since I heard this. Now I have tears. Beautiful.

  • I grew up with this song. Was taught how to play it on the accordionat age 6

  • I was so happy to find this one. Of course, being American, I didn't know how to spell it correctly. I remember this from when I was a very young child and it was my grandfather's favorite.

  • Is Hannah Lindblom the lead singer?

  • I had to break out my harminica and play along, Lennart

  • Great stuff, you put a smile on my face. tak sa mycket Lennart, Connecticut USA

  • I'd love to hear your rendition of Life in the Finnish Woods. How about it, yes?

  • Underbart!!! Mycket härligt. <3

  • Wonderful music. This was the first Scandanavian song I learned on the accordion..

  • me too. great song! The woman singing steals my heart!

  • Snippen RULES!! You know it was the first thing I listened to on your wonderful new album! This song so perfectly reflects your playful, tuneful spirit as a group! I remember seeing this video soon after its debut on YT and I've loved the group since. Your energy is high and spirited for each performance and you let each other have some featured moments!

Best wishes and hugs to you all, ~Terry

  • Låten heter Bonnjazz och inget annat.

  • That was fun!

  • I can not stop whistling!!! I do not have any idea what that song was about nor could I understand the lyrics, but that is what is so cool about music. It doesn't matter! It is all in our souls, and you people have it in your souls! Thank you for sharing that! I only wish I was there in the audience or better yet up on that stage with you playing and having fun, because that is what this is all about! THANK YOU! 5 BIG STARS!

  • It is a wonderful story about Johann in The Corner has bought an Accordion and plays for a dance and what a time they all have from young to old.

  • beautiful performance :)

    a pity i can't understand the words ^^

  • What happens if you put scandinavian old time, swedish farmers jazz and drängablues in a musicbowl and mix it together with a stick? You get the Original Swedish Arvika Blues Breakers! Throw some eggs in the mixture, pour it in a hot pan and you get an exciting dish that tastes really good with some smoked meatballs and lingonberryjuice.

  • We have new songs that we recorded yesterday. Search for The Original Swedish Arvika Blues Breakers on myspace.

  • Thanks to kickingmule. This is wonderful.*****

Takk for insattsen. DS

  • Johan på Snippen ~ one of my favorite tunes that the locals play in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (USA)! Thanks for sharing, kickingmule.

  • Dave, please , don't thank me. Thank our common good taste in music. She can't the lyrics correct but it's hard, and I don't care cause it's a good tune.

    Urban.

    Peace.

  • Det var kjempe fint! I live in Canada, but used to play this on accordion along with my uncle on guitar. Do you have any more videos of this group? I would love to see some more.

  • I'm sorry but there is only one song with this group and this is John at Snipp. Fun that you like it!

    Regards Dan
