@ThatPurpleStuffBros: No offence. I know how much fun it is to shoot a video like this, so please don't feel discouraged by my opinion. I'm just saying what comes to mind. Maybe you'll find it useful for you're next project.... ;-)
@gtclaan The way I saw it, it was basically an axe commercial, just the sexes are reversed. However, you see where instead of the guy "loving" the women chasing him, the men rape the woman. Kind of the double standard thing going on. But again, that's how I saw it.
@taynio That's pretty much how I saw it too. But I expected to see some sort of climax when they all went into the tunnel. I see the reversed sexes thing going on in this one. But what's the added value of the raping scene?
Let me put it this way... The fact that we have to discuss how to interpret the commercial in my opinion means the commercial failed.
@gtclaan I don't think we need to discuss it, really. The rape part was the double standard I mentioned. Where a group of women chasing a man seems like something really amazing and "Oh man, he gets to screw so many women that are aggressively going after him" in that scenario, it would be played out like how this commercial was for women. Men doing that would be seen as rapists, and the woman a victim, but for some reason the public views it differently for women chasing men.
@taynio Now I see what you mean by 'double standard', thanks for explaining. I guess you're right. That must be the idea behind this video. Well, in that case the video is OK. Though I still don't find it really funny, but that's just me :-)
