  • Those are so bad for your wrists. I took Aikido abd tore my TFCC. As you can probably already imagine, that was the last time I went back.

  • Thats why i alwaus carry a gun.

  • What can you do against someone who has like 5X your muscle mass?

I have a friend about my height who is a freaking beast and there is nothing I can do against him in a fight. If I tried any of these holds, his arms wouldn't budge anyway.

  • That's why they're called 'joint' locks. Not 'muscle' locks. Try them on your beast of a friend and try to see how you can get them to work on him. If you do them properly... they will.

  • Small joint manipulation, eye strikes, a boshi-ken to the floating ribs (no muscle can cover these) will all work well on behemoths.

He can still be put off balance to make resistance unlikely and I see no reason why a WELL EXECUTED wrist technique wouldn't work on a behemoth.

Even some of the BJJ flying submissions could work well on a big guy, afterall his size and weight give a better target to aim for. If all else fails... jump at them and bite a chunk out their neck. ;0)

  • Kamikraze,

Keep in mind to use whole body in applying locks. I twist a wrist with not just my hand/arm motion but my upper & lower torso motion also.

  • awsome really good stuff

  • Thankyou!

  • totally cool

  • Excellent!, it´s great that Master Azhakh takes his time to explain step by step.
