さっそくPizzicato Fiveを聴いてみました。

ブラスやストリングスのアレンジ、歌とリズムとの間合いなどあら­ゆる部分を踏襲しているという印象でしたね。

This is an amazingly clean recording for 1968 - if it wasn't for the tape hiss, it'd almost sound modern. The drum sounds are so tight and punchy! Wow. I really gotta find this record! Never heard these cats before. Great melodies!

コーネリアスの引用程顕著ではありませんが、PIZZICATO FIVEの大都会交響楽、最近ではDE DE MOUSEのjourney to freedomと言う曲からも、Don't Take Your Timeへの愛が聴き取れます。お時間あったら聴いてみて下さい­ね♪
