  • When parked, I notice how it sits with quite a bit of pitch up angle. Is this because it does not have the compressible nose gear like todays aircraft? Like how an F-18's nose gear pops up with that stored energy in the compressed nose gear when launching from a carrier. Can anyone tell me if this nose-up design is to help in carrier launches. Does it lack that compressible nose gear like I mentioned.

  • very cool keep it flying mabe considering makeing a long flight to SOUTH ARKANSAS REGIONAL AIRPORT. FOR DEMOS THANKS MARK LOCKWOOD

  • Wow! beautiful plane!!!!

  • Great video! The engine sounds very good.

My country used this aircraft in Malvina´s War with unnexpected good performace against sea wolfes and sea darts missiles, oerlikions, boffors, rocks, and british coins. Nobel horse.

greetings from Argentina to all in Warbird Heritage Foundation!

  • lovely little jet, well done, love this stuff!

  • The Huffer looks like original GSE also. Which engine did you use? Was it a restored P&W J52? Our A-4Es (USMC) had the -P8B, and I know the Blue Angels used the -P408. Not sure what the original B models used, maybe the J65? Please provide some engine specs, and thanks for the great vid. Fond memories!

Scooters have got to be some of the best and most fun airplanes you can fly. Glad to see one in the air.

  • Looks like it has a small wheel base, but dang, I want one. I bet they're very fun to fly.

  • How much does one of these planes cost for a private owner?? not that I want to buy one, just curious

  • @alex3373 , cost to buy is dependent of condition, on the low end around $75,000 for airframe up to what ever the market will bear for a flight ready bird.

  • Awesome

  • Good to see, awesome footage!
