thats funny, I too am Jewish and feel quite the same way. In fact I was raised half in half by a Jamaican woman and therefore have half of a Jamaican family, I was also since a young age brought up listening to some classic rock but mostly Bob Marley and Peter Tosh as well as other greats of the reggae and musical world.

I have the most special place in my heart for the people & culture of Jamaica & a great connection & love 4 the Rastafarian ways & beliefs. I think there is much in common.

just recently i started listening to some bob marley. so i wanted to learn more about the rasta lifestyle. I'm already struggling with my religion as a christian now. as ishbaka says, im not digesting the philosophical foundation of rastafarian either. However, I absolutely love the lifestyle and music. It seems so peaceful and right to me. I'm still concerned about what my family and peers might think. I am also mostly white and live in a white community.
