  • what about the NIGG@#$ that captured and sold your ancestors to the white slave traders?

let them pay for your repatriation you f#$%tard

  • @TheEruditepolymath that one will restore my citizenship and dash me some land dog shit son of harlot bitch

  • @zepepelin Stupid question!!! Nobody really cares and you know even at an unconcious level that you can take your privilage anywhere.

  • @theatcher35

If you believe in Jesus Christ

    You believe in mortal man

and that's the foundation of CHRISTIANITY

  • scribd (dot) com/nb812

  • all the ideas we have about who or what god is originate in the minds of man. hence god is a concept. i declare the right to declare my own heresy, for the purpose of creating a new African civilization, research constantine , the first so called christian emperor of rome, then think for a few minutes, yes, critically

  • I agree. The black man in the U.S. is a suspect ALWAYS. It is in the air. And I like the fact that the Rastas embrace Africa. But to believe in Haile Selassie as God is foolish, especially when he himself denounced such talk and was Christian believing in Jesus Christ. That part of the sect is fantasy. But what the Jamaicans found in Selassie was the majesty of an African never colonized--an emperor. But he was not the Messiah and never claimed to be.

  • No disrespect to any Rasta's. I am not very educated of the subject matter but, My family is loaded wit Rasta's. I love everything about the culture. BUT the one thing that rubs me the wrong way is the worship of a MAN who is clearly nothing but a mortal. Yes he is very influential, Yes his Bloodline is royalty. But he is still MORTAL and I refuse to worship a Mortal man. and I don't understand how my family does..If I am wrong please enlighten a brother.

  • @zepepelin The Rastafarian Culture does not judge you on your skin color. its all from the heart what matters most

  • i traveled a lot for many years brother and i live ina country with a very rich culture and different races (south america), religions, etc..you will get hated and suspicious EVERYWHERE, you choce your place to live where YOU feel in peace with urself your mind and your body, what other ppl think or say it's irrelevant..well that's just how i feel

  • I've always been interested in the rastafari culture and the concept of the lifestyle and the way the rastafarians think. I'm always interested in learning more.

  • I would prefer if one of the thousands of white people I see here in Africa walking free and undisturbed, in Burkina ,Mali ,Ghana etc, respond to you by telling you how they feel living and visiting here,

  • dont feel alone man , we hate our own government .

  • You are right, !!!

Your home is where you're happy, it's where you are free...

    -----

I believe that 30.000 dollars is easilily set away in 10 years by a black family in america if they want to.

So money is not the issue.

People have been brainwashed into loving their Mental slavery so much ,

    They rather not have discomfort,

    Dont want a Fuss....

  • rasta religion stems back to roman catholism, wake up my brother,

  • According to who's story?, The Ethiopian crown predate's Constantine's bible?, why . is this where your story stems from 'brother'

  • what is a bible?

    who's was it?

    Thats were im from,

your dealing with a roman catholic twist doctrine,

    who is Jah?

  • no roman catholic copied the orignal order and currupted it to praise there pagan gods

rastafari bobo shanti is the orignal order

  • LOL

put down the herb and stop worshiping some damn man, wake up. original order my foot

  • @kingdego jah is god, sent to earth as a man, selassie I

  • @kingdego yu cyannn say nothin, rasta and catholic clash to do bigges degree, we bun down di pope , catholic nuh dread, catholic nuh bun erb, catholic nuh big up jah. wuh ya sey?

  • @kingdego noot catholic, christianity yes, but not catholic, catholic, is the lies of rome, twisted and distorted by the white man, rastafari respects the original christian values with the acknowledgement of ehtiopia and hailie selassie and the true story of the israelites and the black man

  • do they get to smoke cannabis legally in the USA?

  • u have cool eyes/glasses

  • I would like to know what you base your beliefs on. I read the bible everyday. what translation do you use?

  • I respect your views on repatriation - as a Scot from Scotland, I love my heritage and culture dearly.

That said, as a Christian I believe that this world is not my final home! I look forward in faith to what God has promised me in the future - an eternity with him in Heaven.

Thanks for the teachings of Rasta, which tell us we need to unite in love. I hope some day you will know the Jesus I know - he is the perfect example of unconditional love!

    Cheers!

  • we are all children of jah black white spanish asian.. we are all children of jah an eny one wanting to become a rhasta then i respect you

  • i am very interested in becoming one with jah and rhasta

    how must i goabout this?

  • just remember its not about locks or smoking herb, its about loving God and treating all living things with respect. Give Thanks

  • i know, the herb just opens up our relationships to a bigger level.

  • @illminduse

if that's the case, Jesus is the best example to follow.

  • becoming a rasta was da best ting to ever happen to me

  • you need to wake up quick.

  • ras

  • I wanna become a rasfarian

  • jah be wif you all.

  • I'm Jewish and I have a great respect for the Rastafarian; it holds peace to a very high regard and speaks about Zion.

I don't care if you believe in Jesus and Haile Selassie as two incarnations of the Messiah.

I believe every peoples have a Messiah just the Jewish one hasn't come yet.

Praise be to G-d, let peace come to the world.

  • thats funny, I too am Jewish and feel quite the same way. In fact I was raised half in half by a Jamaican woman and therefore have half of a Jamaican family, I was also since a young age brought up listening to some classic rock but mostly Bob Marley and Peter Tosh as well as other greats of the reggae and musical world.

I have the most special place in my heart for the people & culture of Jamaica & a great connection & love 4 the Rastafarian ways & beliefs. I think there is much in common.

  • Shalom aleichem and Jah Bless Kings and Queens. In my prayers and heart always. The world, in all its glory can at times be overwhelming as we sit and try to perceive, process and comprehend the world around us yet in the smallest cracks there is beauty, there is love, there is harmony, in the darkest corners shines the light at its brightest. In our hearts, minds and body too exists this phenomenom, there is love, it is real. It is now our duty to with that love create a better world here.

  • if i am white, can i be a rastafarian?

    Somebody please respond to this.

    I want more info..

  • I havent said that European descended people cant be Rastafarian, BUT there are African Nationalists who would disagree with me. However all you have to remember is that Rastafari is Qidamawe Hilie Selassie. True Rastafarians are those who seek to Follow his works , his words and what we know of his intentions. We hold as our first principle the philosophy of equal rights and justice for ALL, throughout the universe.

  • this is not religous, is life, as ur in light fall up ur way and vibes, love ur god as many cos we are tha key

  • Yeah you can mate, I don't think race matters.

  • bless jah

bless the people of the earth

xxmichael9110 ..?? yes you can onlying in ur heart ,mind,

bless the people who see my word`s

    bless jah

    bless H.I.M.H.S.1

  • yea you can be a white rastafarian

  • im sure they don't care but i'm also pretty sure it makes alot more sense if you're of african background, the philosphy has to do with black struggle and black empowerment, the rest you can prolly do - like the food and lifestyle

  • i am not religious. but if feel that it is a sign of a more evolved religion when they drop beleifs in favoring one race. there are alot of different races in the world.

  • theres no real religon its all based on one thing and its god what does it even matter if jesus was white or black it dosent even make a diffrence were all ppl stop judjing skin color im starting to even wonder if there even is a god but since im white suposivly i cant be a rasta what kind of religon is that if there is an allmighty god hes supose to be loving.....

  • the politics of Rastafari calls for a black concept of God, beauty and taste, the reason the faith manifested was to establish these principles in the minds of a demoralized , post enslavement and colonized ,people. whereas we have advanced the yard stick In a quest for a universal howbeit Black god Concept, our concept of beauty and taste is mostly that of our former slave-masters. The fact is OTHER people/races are also capable of upholding An AFRICAN Standard of GOD ,BEAUTY AND TASTE>

  • RastafarI has never meant black supremacy, It has never be associated with white people beaing the devil nither has it been something only for black-skinned people in my eyes.

RasTafarI has for me always been about truth!

About rigthousness, pure livity, original culture. About every man & Wombmans true nature in oneness with Most High and nature.

Yah created all man equal, and shall judge us by our deeds, words and meditations.

The Truth is not white nither is it black.

  • The facts on the history if Rastafari is not a matter of personal opinion ,yours nor mine. Quidamawe Hailie Selassie

is the godhead declared by visonaries like Howell, Hibbert and Dunkley, Rastafari Is the Worship /praise and following the principles of HIM life words and work..secondly, Thruth as used in the english language is relitave to world view.(descect the israeli/ palestenian argument)

  • RastafarI is not a matter of opinion, true brother. But Haile Selassies divinity does not make supremacy by colour supportable.

Yes I, A Rasta is someone who follows the example set by HIM.

and HIM told me that he Glory in the bible, and that he himself was a christian, a servant of Yesos Kristos.

If he is/was so must I be, since I can see the divinity in HIM, i cannot deny it.

How can Truth be relitive? Only the bealif of what is truth can differ.Yah is the truth and Yah never change

  • I recognize no god or goddess who have a favorite section of humanity, thar kind of theology is out dated and rather rediculous in this the 21st century, Obviously we have seen European and its descendant civilization , Rastafarians are not satisfied with these concepts , we seek to do something new and different, we have a strong desire ,(in harmony with the words ogf our godhead HIM) to do this on the African continent.

  • I am not 100% sure what we're talking about anymore brother.

If we're still resoning about the definition of RastaFarI, I say that it has never for me had anything to do with colour, but faith. A faith in truth, not in blackness.

"Other people/races are capable of upholdig African standards..." Well, As I see it everyone is a African, it all depends on how long back you would like to trace your linage.

So which are these other races?

    Isen't humanity just one race?

  • and your point is what?? profits and "messias" came and went, they sure had diffrent skin colours and came from diffrent cultures, massages was of god, and thats it

  • JESUS WAS NOT BLACK

  • thats true, and he wasnt WHITE either, he's middle eastern, im a white 14 year old, and i believe that there is no way that jesus is white

  • i am not for human bessunes but God wes every where withme now i want help i am now alon plese when you see the the God givet in your place plese just contact me by email give me the adereess means email the exact

  • thank you.

  • i would give you a break

  • reparation pay i respect your viewe ut i dont agree. fact is man you should never forget what happened (slavery) but you should forgive.

if your dealt a bad deck of cards there two things you and do spend you life complaing what you been given and lose or fight for what you want while repecting others and therefore getting at least a chance in succeding in what you want man.

  • 30,000 dollars? that's a fraction of the cost of a house in america.

And the cost of living in africa is a fraction of the cost in america.

Why dont you save up the money and move instead of sitting in america, complaining and asking for hand outs. Its not dignified.

Jah Rastafari would be dissapointed brethren.

  • I did it. If I have any complaint it is why arent more people doing it, i have never had 30,000 in cash available to me at any one time. i work every day and impose taxes on myself to acheive my goals.

  • You have very good teeth. I bet you dont eat any candy because its not ital.

  • just recently i started listening to some bob marley. so i wanted to learn more about the rasta lifestyle. I'm already struggling with my religion as a christian now. as ishbaka says, im not digesting the philosophical foundation of rastafarian either. However, I absolutely love the lifestyle and music. It seems so peaceful and right to me. I'm still concerned about what my family and peers might think. I am also mostly white and live in a white community.

Do you have any advice for me ishbaka?

  • keep questioning Authority, especially religious and political authority- thats my advice. question in search of true information,, not condemnation or incrimination or revenge/retaliation

  • ishbaka,

I would like to hear the rest of this clip. How do governments there feel about our claim to the land? I am sadden that in order for us to repatriate, we must buy land. More importantly, we should not wait here for benefitors of slavery to send us home; they will not even pay reparations, and it is in their financial interest for us to be scattered all over the world. So, we must do it ourselves.

  • I dont Know That any group in the west have made any Formal claim for land and citizenship to any government in Africa, Governments are formal and "official" entities, "Claims" have to be formally and officialy made!. We do have legitimate basis for these claims ,there are also people in Africa willing to listen (in official governments and local(tribal)) authorities) - Individuals cannot make these kinds of representation. The failure to take action lies mostly on us.-

  • im American and im white at least where i live the blacks are ALLOT more racist towards white then we are towards them

i just think that skin color doesn't matter its who you are and how you act

  • how people acted in the past has served as the basis for the present relationship between the two groups. we the living have to try to stand in the other persons shoes. get to see things from the others point of view,

  • Yes the past serves as the basis for the present relationship bweteen this racial groups, but i beleive that we should use our past to benefit from the mistakes nations made 400 years ago. I will not accept any responsability for the mistakes and atrocities white men made in the past just cause Im white. i hope that the past serves as a teaching and not as an excuse. Im no Rasta but I do know what His Majesty wants for his people and that is UNITY....respect

  • Keep spreading the love and wisdom, brother. One day the entire human race will shed their shackles. Whole worlds gonna free up soon, I feel it.
