I wouldnt say they sold out as much as their style changed because of the loss of Michael Amott's guitar playing on this album. Lets face it, its not gonna be the same without Amott. But its still an awesome album, imho. Thats my two cents.

This album isn't horrible, but it never felt right to me. Same with Heartwork. The first 3 albums were so good. Grinding riffage, interesting solos, drum fills that made you convulse, especially on Necroticism.. This just seems so processed and a bit lame. I get that grind/death metal isnt for everyone though.
