When I was in middle school, I thought The Simpsons was the funniest cartoon tv show. I tuned in for awhile, until high school. After graduation, 2 or 3 years later I discovered Family Guy and got my ass laughing so much! I love the show. Funnier than Southpark in my opinion.

Family guy is great, except for all the Showtunes, and singing and junk. Most of the Old stuff was good, with Puns where what your looking at is different what your hearing, or like the skiinning the knee skit drawn out, real life things. Other than that, it's all Gay jokes now. Used to be good.

Seriously, there is no special reciepe for a great joke. I mean, do all the jokes you like work after exactly the same schedule? I don't think so, and if they really do you must be an extremely dull person. I think Family Guy is still great, you don't, but that's just because we have different sense of humour, not because they suddenly don't know what's funny.

You also have to bring to consideration that Stewie is a baby, so he shouldn't be able as intelligent as he is. And let's not forget it's been years and Stewie is still one year old. So once again, irrelevant. Second, the squid joke was funnier than the mom joke. it was unexpected, random, and not annoying.

And I'm not saying that what I think is funny is the total absolute funny and nothing else is. If you read the prior comment the subscriber called me a humorless bitch, so I had to school that subscriber on what non-humor is, and that scene is non-humor and non-humor is definitely subjective.

Third, I laugh at a great deal of things. I have a broad sense of humour. I love to laugh, and lately family Guy has made me sad. That episode with Quagmire's dad was disgusting and sad at the end. Family Guy is not funny anymore. The mom joke was just a huge fiasco, period. And I don't mean to offend anyone, but the people I know that like the mom joke are actually humourless. Personal experience, just saying.
