yes you´re right derek he has nothing to prove, the federation fired eriksson because of the result vs. honduras and because the entire board of the mexican federation are separate on two groups one from Televisa and other from Tv azteca, they want to control the entire mexican squad just for money unfortunately. that´s why mexico plays many games in United States and because the board have a contract with zoom, an enterprise who manage the matches of the mexican squad in usa

Well on the first round there's possible visits to Honduras and Jamaica, then on the hex there's possible visits to 4 central american and/or caribbean countries at most, that's 6 games in total under poor conditions, not really a lot of heat to take IMHO. After all the Mexican NT usually stays in top noch hotels and plays either in the US or the best towns in Mexico.
