I noticed hu looked at the seatbelt while he was checking it out. It is kinda funny that nobody really uses the seat belts in tractors when they drive down the road. Lol

Steiger spanked all of these tractors.....thats why IH Case still makes all 4wd tractors as "Steigers".

This concept will be brought back to life within 5 years: There is just no way you can transfer the power of the biggest 936, 8000 series and Magnums without bigger wheels, which will decrease the turning radius too much on a conventional steerign axle.

Still a great conept.

The 7288 had silmilar sized 2 wheel drives back then but the 7488's competition all came from 4WD tractors.There wouldn't be a 200hp 2wheel drive row crop until 1989.This 7488is a really impressive site to see.
