  • I tell you Now that I have watched a few of his fights Claude Lemieux had a pretty good single leg takedown for pre MMA days!

  • Those were the days .. i wish we had some Nilans, Kordics, and Odeleins in Montreal right now

  • Wow! We don't see brawls like this in the playoffs anymore. This was the best time to be a hockey fan. Now we got a watered down league with too many teams and players. I say get rid of at least 10 teams. Of course Betman will never do that.

  • Damn Thats an ugly suit Nilan is wearing lol.

  • ole time hockey!!!!.....slapshot style!!!

  • The 86 Campbell Conference final against St Louis was like watching paint dry after Calgary Beat Edmonton. The Calgary/Edmonton Rivalry is still a benchmark in sporting rivalry.

I'm pretty sure Peplinski just pretended he was fighting one of the Oilers during this melee.

  • @TheTTBT That had mostly to do with then-Blues coach Jacques Demers employing a tight checking system. It went 7 games so it couldn`t have been that boring of a series.

  • The NHL dimished the entertainment value of game--make no mistake about it: fighting and brawling is exciting and fun to watch--by taking brawling out. Why bother trying to appeal to the Americans and those who don't like this type of thing, the game was better this way.

  • did he just call Montreal fans unsophisticated? this Ontarian fuck has no idea

  • Montreal Sucks!!!!! Loob rules

  • LOOB ???? LOL swedish pussy

  • lol agreed

  • Claude Lemieux eye gouging at 1:57. Classy move from a classy player.

  • Peplinski opened Lemieux up though before Lemieux deciding throwing them was not going to work.

  • classy player with 4 Cups. He bit Peplinski too. Look close.

  • It looked like John Kordic was giving the crotch-grabbing gesture towards someone at the 3:42 mark.

  • Surprising thing is, this was after game 4 of the 86 cup finals! When will you see a SCF brawl like this again?

  • It can happen again, the closest since 1986 was Stars-Sabres Stanley Cup Final in 1999. There several occasions when the game is over in that series where both teams almost had a brawl.

  • @journeythruthepast never the players are becoming pussys these days, these are real hockey players these days there is no respect in hockey, you might say this is not respect but iwould disagree. THIS is war in the SCF

  • Surprised there wasn't one last night but I guess Pronger waited until everyone wasn't paying attention to do his puck-grabbing routine. Everyone except Ben Eager, who would've tackled the big dolt if a ref wasn't in the way. That would've set it off big time.

  • @robdmhaze oh respect like back in the day when number 9 tomahawked the guy over the head with his stick or when bobby clark broke that pussy's ankle from russia that king of respect? D.keith looked like a huge pussy in this years playoffs when he got his teeth knocked out and sat there on the bench chewing on a piece of shit wipe asking when he can get back out there.

The rules of today's game don't make the players bigger pussy's and there is more respect now then ever before in the game

  • i wish these commentators would stop holding back in his disdain for brawling....

  • Probably american commentators...

  • no shit.when you're favorite sport is such a sissy sport as football, and this disdain for fighting?

  • It's Bill Clement dick. he is Canadian.

  • The Montreal men's store that sold that suit to Nilan (didnt Bella Oxmix wear the same suit in Star Trek?) was given a double game misconduct for bad taste.

  • GO LEAFS GO #1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • GO LEAFS GO #1!!!!!!!!

  • GO HABS GO #1!!!!!!!!!!
