Bruce Springsteen has a political edge to a lot of his songs under his mostly pop/blues sound. I can't speak for Grohl and Van Zandt, but at least Springsteen and Costello belong in that lineup.

Agree with the Grammies sentiment but disagree with the sentiment about the intentions of the artists on stage. To be honest....I don't really know too much about the political leanings of Grohl, Costello and Van Zandt but Springsteen has always stood up for alof of what Joe Strummer sang about. The key difference is that Springsteen has just sold more records as his career has spanned many more years.
