Hey I need help i got my igrabber everything al good I statrt capturing call of duty nazi zombie gameplay in 11 parts of 10 minutes at round 37+ and each 10 minute segment is aparently 6-8 GB and cannot be uploaded to google unless i spend 554 minutes for each video please help is there a way to lower the GB to less then 1 and still keep my gameplays good as before please help im using an igrabber is there a way to lower the GB(Giga Byte) count on the Igrabber settings Thanks Please HELP-Chris
i don't think that google will sell a "google" phone. they basically only bought the company for the patents and will probably just wind up selling the part that makes phones.
HTC/Android needs a new motherfing OS. It is "killing" our battery like no tomorrow. with apps included. Possibly get a longer lasting battery? better software or something. I have HTC Sensation 4g that thing don't last a day with me just playing with it within the hour. I "could" let it just motherfing sit there but whats the point.?
@TheMassline I've an Samsung Infuse and the battery last pretty good. I use it constantly so it may be HTC's Sense UI. (if that's what you're using) I don't use Samsungs Touchwiz though. It may be because I use Launcher7 from the Market, which doesn't use hardly anything power-wise. Not sure, but it does well throughout the day.
O yeah and i think that motorola is going to start making very good phones which are updated immediately...also I think other big companies should stop trying to sue each other..and just focus on making better phones jeez stop being scared of a little competition.
I just want a 4.3" (or 4.5") screen vanilla Android phone. That being said, It'd be crazy to shut out the others. Why alienate them and lose money? Why give power to WP7 and iPhone by delaying aOS software. They will release the updates to them as they always have. Individual manufactures are the ones who take forever with the updates as they put all their custom looks on to the aOS and then have to do rigorous testing for months to get the bugs out of their custom UI's as best they can.
@samiamred Yeah it does look sweet. I have the Infuse right now & after the 1st SGS & the U.S. update issue, I said I'd never buy a Samsung again, & was sticking w/HTC, but the Infuse made a liar out of me. I still don't know if I'll give up my 4.5" Infuse for the 4.3" GS2 dual core, simply because the 2.3 update is supposedly rolling out before the end of the month, "supposedly". Sure It only has a 1.2ghz 1 core, but so far it's been way more than fast enough for all that I do. I use it lots.
@TheFashizy Yeahh the infuse is pretty nice, the thing that I like about the s2 vs the infuse is it has extremely smooth and fast browsing, I can watch megavideo, video bb other flash sites with zero lag. pretty amazing small phone which is so powerful...o yeah and it supports nfc
@samiamred Right- the NFC thing is definitely a huge plus. I may give in, if not- I'll wait to see what the Nexus Prime is all about. If that phone is true, THAT will for sure be my next planned purchased. Especially if it has a 4.5" screen and all the goodies of the SGS2 as rumored. If it's not true, then I'll take a white version of the SGS2 please.

Now, because Google needs to make Motorola successful as it's part of Google currently, Google will have to diminish the amount of sell of Android OS to Samsung, LG or HTC so Motorola would be the best Android phone devices out there. The main reason why Google purchased Motorola was because of the patents Motorola has. @MovieMania126 Right now because Microsoft told HTC there's a small code in aOS that they have the "patent" rights to, it charges HTC $5 or so for every handset it sells with aOS. Rather than go to court, HTC just pays MS the fee. MS & Apple want to buy out all these patents and the goal would in fact be to shut it down. MS had yrs to perfect their phones, but failed to make them better. Now it's practically too late. What can they do now? Be hostile. & iPhone with it's boring UI is next.

But the funny thing is that Andy Rubin first personally went to Samsung's headquarter and suggested them to go into Android business with them. But silly Samsung rejected it because at that time, there were 2000 Samsung R&D workers of OS. So Andy Rubin went to LG, but they rejected as well. So he went to HTC which was almost never known company. But now, HTC's overall stock is higher than Nokia.

On another note, I believe Nokia went the way towards WP7 & rejected aOS because they were relying on MSFT (& Apple) to slowly squeeze out what they were thinking would be an eventual dying software based off of the many thousands of IP patents MS owns that may or may not be inside aOS. If Nokia had went with Android, they'd be on top soon. They know how to make great looking UI's It sucks when these companies make such vague patents that somehow get approved.

Samsung and LG are having quite hard time right now trying to be the winner in the Smart market.. @MovieMania126 I wouldn't worry too much about Samsung, LG maybe, but not Samsung. Their growth since the release of the SGS2 and their new commitment to releasing aOS updates much quicker, has been phenomenal. (and their tab that Apple hates) with the upcoming release of the Hercules into the market, they will be able to hang with the big boys. The one extra ace they have also, is their Super AMOLED technology. I love HTC, but they have nothing to compete against that screen yet.
@TheFashizy There are few screens that are actually better than super AMOLED technology that Samsung has such as Nova display which has 700 nit whereas Super AMOLED has 500 nit. With 700 nit screen, Nova screen runs longer than Super AMOLED (in battery). To mention about Samsung's newest tablet 10.1, you can get it for free if you buy Samsung 3DTV in America which I think is really pathetic. In Korea, you have to pay over $1200 to purchase 10.1, but in American, it only costs only $620. Disgrace
@MovieMania126 Yeah. I saw several months ago that it was supposed to be better, and it uses less power for certain colors than SAMOLED. It was supposed to show better colors overall, but in a real world test, side by side, the SAMOLED truly does looks better at every angle. NOVA fades when angled. Apple wanted the SAMOLED really bad, it's one of the many reasons for all the lawsuits. Samsung won't supply them with it. LG will probably give them NOVA. Look up Nova vs SAMOLED on youtube.
@MovieMania126 Yeah that free tablet thing is pretty crazy. I would go for it if I hadn't just purchased a 3D Panasonic Viera from BestBuy a little over a month ago. I almost bought the Samsung instead, but the Viera actually looked better to my surprise. Besides- I would have been angry because It would still be after 30 days, and I would have missed the free tablet anyways :(
@TheFashizy It's not crazy, but it's ridiculous because not a lot of people buy 10.1 so they are giving away for free so later, they could say to the public "We have sold over a million tablets in 3 months". @MovieMania126 Motorola lets them use it, but in a very subtle way, the day before the buyout, they said in a statement they could charge IF they wanted to but don't. If MSFT & Apple don't back off, Goog will use those patents as it's defense/offense as well (assuming the deal gets finalized). If MSFT had bought out Motorola, phone innovation would be screwed. We'd all go back to having to play their games & have feat we want, released 1or2 at a time. 3 yrs for iPhone to have video rec?? Games.

It kinna cutting edge for Google but the move was nice though necessary. Google has always played the Guru in the background and let the manufacturers fight with each other while watching from a distance. This is a game changer. I just hope Google will play fair game with its partners cos HTC/SAMSUNG already powering WP7. I can see this going AWOL for Google if it starts competing with them. There s a fine line but how to draw it, that I'll love to see how Google is gonna do this...
i dont think its going to affect the market so much because like you said, motorola only has 3% of the market share on smartphone. but the interesting fact that you brought up was the 17,000 patents that google now get to have will be a huge advantage. because half the time you have major companies filing lawsuit for infringement of intellectual rights. i think this is a step forward because this would cut the bridge between hardware and software (as brought up by someone in this forum).
This is what companies need to do more often. When a company is able to control both hardware and the software it generally makes for a better experience overall. Too often the software provider has different ideas of how a device should perform compared to the hardware provider and vice versa. Also, you will see less bloatware on your device because only a single company will be evolved. Its good to see more companies taking cues from .
well i personally thing that since google are due to launch a new nexus phone within the next 6 months or less and motorolla do make god phones and that they have some of the best marketing for there phones that the next nexus will be coming from motorola.
i meach heck why not after all the first nexus came from htc, the second came from samsung (big ass mistake in my opinion), so why wouldn't the next nexus come from someone like motorola. we will see...

the nexus phones aren't going away... google already stated that any company can still bid to build the nexus branded phones. They went as far as to say that they will not be interfering with moto at all actually. They basically purchased them to get their patents.

@TheFashizy It's not crazy, but it's ridiculous because not a lot of people buy 10.1 so they are giving away for free so later, they could say to the public "We have sold over a million tablets in 3 months". I wouldn't say that is a marketing, but that's really pathetic and I can see how hard Samsung is striving to increase the market share of their products. It's really ridiculous in my view.

@MovieMania126 Motorola lets them use it, but in a very subtle way, the day before the buyout, they said in a statement they could charge IF they wanted to but don't. If MSFT & Apple don't back off, Goog will use those patents as it's defense/offense as well (assuming the deal gets finalized). If MSFT had bought out Motorola, phone innovation would be screwed. We'd all go back to having to play their games & have feat we want, released 1or2 at a time. 3 yrs for iPhone to have video rec?? Games.

It kinna cutting edge for Google but the move was nice though necessary. Google has always played the Guru in the background and let the manufacturers fight with each other while watching from a distance. This is a game changer. I just hope Google will play fair game with its partners cos HTC/SAMSUNG already powering WP7. I can see this going AWOL for Google if it starts competing with them. There s a fine line but how to draw it, that I'll love to see how Google is gonna do this...

i dont think its going to affect the market so much because like you said, motorola only has 3% of the market share on smartphone. but the interesting fact that you brought up was the 17,000 patents that google now get to have will be a huge advantage. because half the time you have major companies filing lawsuit for infringement of intellectual rights. i think this is a step forward because this would cut the bridge between hardware and software (as brought up by someone in this forum).

This is what companies need to do more often. When a company is able to control both hardware and the software it generally makes for a better experience overall. Too often the software provider has different ideas of how a device should perform compared to the hardware provider and vice versa. Also, you will see less bloatware on your device because only a single company will be evolved. Its good to see more companies taking cues from .

well i personally thing that since google are due to launch a new nexus phone within the next 6 months or less and motorolla do make god phones and that they have some of the best marketing for there phones that the next nexus will be coming from motorola.
i meach heck why not after all the first nexus came from htc, the second came from samsung (big ass mistake in my opinion), so why wouldn't the next nexus come from someone like motorola. we will see...

the nexus phones aren't going away... google already stated that any company can still bid to build the nexus branded phones. They went as far as to say that they will not be interfering with moto at all actually. They basically purchased them to get their patents.

@SoldierKnowsBest Apple recently patented the design of there upcoming Mac book air, how is it possible that a company can patent the basic shape of a Ultrabook in the US. Surely there must have been some money handed over under the table( hope i've translated this Proverb correctly).
